    Does .edu.gmail work ?

This isn't anything special ? Apple EDU prices have been there for years, use to be even better but now they have reduced the discount percent

    • Yeah, just wasn't here on Ozbargain - still some of the cheapest prices for almost any Apple product thought, basically all the prices beat Officeworks (can't get the 5% PBG though)

Not really, e.g. MacBook Pro 13 $1,829 edu price vs $1,899 RRP, a mere 3.7% off. JB Hi-Fi or TGG can do better than that if you ask.

        Anyway, welcome aboard.

@hugoklem I presume you didn’t search first. Edu pricing isn’t listed as a "bargain" because it’s pretty common knowledge and isn’t that great anymore. Apart from that it gets mentioned in forums and other bargains pretty regularly on ozbargain … almost every week from what I could see in the last few months.

  • doesn't need a .edu email ,you can checkout online

It's really only worthwhile for customised macs that you generally can't get reduced/on sale in stores

    Hi OP,

Good to have a comparison list between rrp and edu price for different products.

That can help fellows find the real bargains if that makes sense.

    Cheers.

Why don't they have education pricing for the Apple TV? I need the Apple TV for Netflix and chill educational purpose!

    • You're sometimes better off getting a tax deduction off the purchase. It works out cheaper…

You can always get that 10% off price through Unidays.
It basically lets you log in to education store on the apple website.

This price I think is the same as previous

  • Case in point: I bought the new 21.5" iMac listed here at $2,149.00 for about a hundred buck less at JB Hi-Fi over the weekend as part of their 10% off pricing. So as stated above, these prices are nothing special

    Which item(s) are 20% off?

  • Sigh… this isn't new.

First… you get 10% off… basically, the GST as educational institutions don't have to pay GST, they get it back at the end of each financial year.

Second… you don't need an EDU address to purchase from here. Anyone can purchase from there… I have brought from there and signed out with my personal email a number of times. Never had an issues… but also worth mentioning that I am not saying you won't have any issues.

  • No special pricing for iphones? (looks to be imacs & ipads only - iphones seem to be normal price)

  • I couldn’t find any special deal or price using the link.
If anyone find do let us know. We’re looking to buy iMac for our business.

  • I have 1309 for the basic 11" iPad pro
