    logitechshop still alive ?

  • Price a bit steep but I can confirm this is an outstanding webcam.

    • It's not a cheap piece of kit, but it is meant to be worth it. I was happy to get it for a third off. RRP is $329.95.

  • Can you even stream in 4k with Australia's upload rates?

Course you can, just lower that bit rate or frame rate! 5fps 4k is still 4k!

        Haha you get it

    • You probably don't need to stream in 4K but it is one of the only webcams that can do 1080p at 60fps.

  • I'm not even sure if some programs allow 4k streaming or video calls.. Iirc which I probably don't some even cap at 720p 30 fps to save on bandwidth unless it is peer to peer.

  • Why not get a realsense camera for this kind of price and get 3D scanning/Microsoft Hello features?

    • Ahhh realsense, where the average lens makes for an okay 720p rgb, and depth perception of 320px in an extremely limited distance amount? Yeah it's mostly just hype.

One of the reasons for me is having a low amount of webcams like this that work well with a Mac.

  • Any idea what resolution/angle/fps/features/anything else etc it can support with only USB 2.0?

I don't think I have any USB 3.0 ports currently unless there is an adapter for that such I don't think there is because that wouldn't make sense.

    • The brio supports USB 3.0 using USB-C or USB-A with an adapter. If you only have USB 2.0 ports then this camera will give you very nice 1080 feed, but no 4K. You can get the same quality from cheaper cams.

      • Need a cheap recommendation on a nice 1080p cam. Brio is a bit Overkil atm so looking for honestly cheapest cam that doesn't look like it is from last millennium lol.

If it has a safety cover that would also be great.

        What are your recommendations?
