  • How long does each review take ???

    Watch the T&C

"This offer is only available for members that have not received any other rewards from WOMOW for doing reviews within the last 6 months."

So make sure that you are over your 6 months before doing this.

Honestly wowmow are way off base with trying to manage regular reviewers.

There is no way I am going to spend my time writing reviews without something to recognise it.

I may get a bit biased, but I am thoughtful with what I write and comprehensive.

I go out all the time, and my area has few reviewers.

So while this deal is good for some - boo to wowmow for not getting their head around this issue.

Ah well their loss. I will stick to other sites that actually reward me for my opinions.

On the plus side they were quick to send me my voucher - if that helps

    not worth the effort imo

    $20? slave labour :P

      my thoughts exactly!

maybe if its only 1 liner reviews, wonder if u still get voucher then.

    cut and paste

What businesses do you review ????????????

  • +3

pfft not going to bother with this. 20 reviews will take quite a long time, all for a westfield voucher..

10 reviews would be more appropriate

I use to be active on WOMOW, but now with this rubbish 'you wont get anything if you received a reward in last 6 months' crap I wont be writing any more reviews. Online surveys provide a regular flow of vouchers, why shouldn't reviews??

    • +2

WHich online surveys give you free stuff?

      • I use Valued Opinions. they send me surveys everyday, if I spend about an hour or two I can claim a $20 gift card.

        • ??? People are reporting their surveys are just $1 - $4 and that can be for a half an hour survey :S

  • I put this on as one of the cheap cheap offer on my list. you can get easily more reward these day with the effort you need to put up for WOMOW. I tried with them completely bad idea

dont waste time with the reviews fellow bargain hunters!

I agree, slave labour. I do mystery shopping and get paid between $15-$30 for one review.

    • Which company do you work for? I was told about mystery shopping and I always want to do it. sounds fun.

      • would be interested to do mystery shopping too

        • +1

My ex was a mystery shopper. She could spend hundreds in an afternoon and I never figured out how.

        • hence the term mystery shopper

  • I would not mind $1 for each review if its something that I could do as I encounter a business.

I am really a big believer in the power of shared experiences, so something rather than nothing would probably enourage me just as an extra incentive

but no way am I that big a believer that I am going to do it for free on that scale;P

    Sounds crap

  • There are plenty of forums/sites where people share their experiences for the benefit of others without expecting a financial reward (such as OzB). The problem is that once a site goes down the reward path people then expect it and associate $ with each contribution. That's human nature/psychology for you ;-)

    • ozb is different … bigger user base

      easier to post a deal

      and community boards

and the hunky (shameless) mods respond much quicker and to be blunt seem much smarter

I could go into more detail but lets say more than 6 months of working on something should mean wowmow should be able to put aside their cookie cutter way of doing things

hey I guess it must work for them, but sigh

  • I have done a review for this website months ago but did not received any gift card from them whatsoever.

    • it's $20 for 20 reviews, not 1 review.

  • also did it months ago, no gift card.

  • I remember signing up and doing 20 reviews ages ago and then after doing them all (all honest and thorough reviews) I got told some of the companies had too many employees or something.
They weren't willing to budge, so i say FU to WOMOW

    • why didnt you neg this yet?

I will on your behalf :P

      • oops. Thought I had.. oh well I have now :)
