  • most point to the cheaper - albeit 1080 - Samsung 49" for that.

    While it lacks any type of adaptive refresh the pixel count is actually significantly less than 3840x2160 (4K) so if you can drive that always higher than 60FPS it should be OK (not ideal but it will work) for gaming.
