        Thanks, been waiting to get an apple tv 4k for my parents. Works out around $200-210 (depending on how you value points) vs $250 from Apple. About the same price Apple sells refurbs for (and they're out of stock right now)

      You can get good deals.

      A few months back when they had RM Williams for about 50k/pair I bought two. Since my last CC churn earned me 100k-ish points and cost about $150 for the CC annual fee, effectively I got two pairs of RMs for about $100 each.

      (Should have bought more.)

        I doubt it. From memory store is a different cart. My flight on credit card statement is “qantas Air Australia Australia”. My store purchase is too long ago for me to view online so maybe someone can check their statement for you.

      You typically want to try get 1c per point as you can often just straight otu sell them at 1c valuation

      So essentally thats paying $700 for something which on the regular is on sale for 300-350

        But selling your points for cash is against the ToS. People should also factor this in when they consider selling their points.

        Sure lots of people do it, but you could get caught out and lose all your points, be banned from Qantas FF program.
