    Not as fast as the internal drive, if it's Nvme, and possibly even SATA3 unless you have a USB 3.1 Gen 2 3.2 Gen 2 port.

      idea of T5 is moblity, they are much smaller than DIY a 2.5” drive into a usb case, unlike built in nvme or sata 3.some people store games on removable media as it’s easier to take with them eg to use on xbox at friends house if you don’t want to download 50 GB game again . Also i’d recording gaming sessions on one machine but them edit on another.

        I can see this being a useful use case for posing Xbox at a friend's place.

        I don't think it would work that simply for PC games though.

        I would only be using it as a USB stick that also needs a cable. It's too expensive for mass storage and I don't require the faster speed.

  I bought one off the other Bing Lee deal and it came password protected so I suspect it's not new. Bit dodgy. Can't do anything with it without knowing the password so have to return it now zzz.
