What video/music services will this bypass the region for? I would have thought that companies like Netflix simply block the exit nodes of VPN providers.

I was trying to buy. I went through the shopback link to nordvpn and the cashback was activated which showed on the chrome extension with green colour but when it goes to the checkout/payment page its coming up red on the shopback extension. Just worried shopback tracking is not working on the checkout page. anyone else had similar issues ?

To check if it's okay, just jump back to www.nordvpn.com and see if it's green. If so, jump back to the checkout and pay as usual. I'll need to get our team to fix this configuration up on the extension to avoid confusion.

So is the cashback applied to the US $107.55 price or that is the price with the cashback…? From the cashback site it looks like is is just US $107.55 with the cashback but that is also the price on the NordVPN site.

What do they do?It's meant to give 75% off of 3 year plan, although NordVPN already has this offer happening automatically onsite. If you apply the code, it won't really do anything but it's recommended you apply one of the codes anyway just to make reconciliation process easier on NordVPN's end should something not track properly.
Nord use to be good but recently it seems to be slow.. I wonder if these insane sale deals are bringing in the hoards of data leechers that bog down the network.

Can't use this on an Android TV box for US Netflix. I was told by Nord the Android TV app doesn't support it. If someone has a workaround using Nord please share.
Hunt around for a relatively new released server. I used ones in the 33xx range and it works. Also 1829 works but can be congested at times. Netflix can't block all the nodes….

Yeah Nord always pretty much run this promotion the deal is the shopback cashback that's at 82%. So you pay the 150 something dollars and receive 120 something back

Make sure you have the apps installed BEFORE going to China. Try connecting to Hong Kong orJapan servers.
Have the app on a PC as well as a mobile if being in touch is important as you might have more success on PC.

Speed comparison for PIA and Nord. Have both now.
PIA 3 megabits on average faster coming out of US West (lowest latency). Nothing super fast speeds between 10mbit throgh to 17mbit for both VPNs.
Basically full speed using local Perth server for me for both VPN providers.
Do you mind me asking what speeds you were getting before using Nord/PIA (without VPN)? im only getting 12mbs at the moment (without VPN) so wanted to know how much slower my internet would be if i use either.
Well normally get my full speed when downloading from Microsoft and Blizzard. So 7.5MB to 8.0MB a second. But very certain the downloads were in parallel.
Used Speedtest with single connection speed test so might get faster speed if multi connection if the VPN allows multiple concurrent connections. Can test later at home.
Local speed were almost the same just a few mbits off top speed. From the Perth server.

How long should it take to track? I'm a bit worried since choosing "Credit Card" didn't work, but "Other" did (even though I used the same credit card). I didn't click out of anything, stayed on the same tab, even used the Chrome extension (stayed green the entire time). Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.
On an unrelated note, my wife signed up for the Catch Connect offer and received the tracking email three minutes after the Welcome email from Catch Connect, so kudos there. She didn't even use the Chrome extension (edge browser).
