4.6.349 is higher than 4.4.2.290 so yes. In other words - just update to the latest version possible.
How long before the cash back gets validated? Mine from previous offer are still pending.
Up to 60 days, you can also refer to the "Cashback Details" section on the store page as well.
This is 50% of what amount? The final payment amount after any Hey You discounts? Or the actual coffee cost?
eg: If I buy cofee from Morning News Cafe and use Promo Code MNC1, a $4 coffee costs me $0.00. Will the Cashback be $2.00 or $0.00?
50% is of what you pay after discounts.
Also note that if you use a code that hasn't been approved by us (ie. not listed on our store page) towards an order, unfortunately that order will not qualify for cashback. They will be rejected upon validation with Hey You.
Cashback is not qualified for:
- Use of Hey You app versions before v4.4.2.290
- Gift card Purchases and Purchases using Gift cards unless otherwise stated, and orders where you are redeeming a loyalty reward
- Returns, exchanges & cancellations
- Cashback is not eligible for orders placed on the Hey You website

Don't think "50% is of what you pay" is entirely correct
The 50% doesn't look like it applies to the service charge from hey you. So it's just 50% off the food /coffee price

I did use HeyYou app for my first order and did find it disappointing. Ordered 2 muffins to collect from nearby cafe and they said it is out of stock. Unavailability of live inventory sucks. The cafe did not know how to cancel the order and the customer support have not responded either. :(

Sounds like the cafe didn't know how to use the software.
If they do not have the inventory they should reject the order, giving that reason.
I've had orders rejected, the cafes fault not heyyou
I use the app a lot and made life quicker but with my local cafe if something isn’t available they bounce your order to let you know

I tried this last time round and never tracked. Only $2 but pretty annoying.

What if you purchase using your balance which has been partially topped up with cash, and partially with a code?
Our T&C still stands, even if you place an order where $0.01 of your balance is funded by a code then this order will unfortunately not qualify for cashback.

Dammit, only just saw it on the app after doing the AliExpress deal and usually rely on someone posting these on OzBargain in the mornings.
Rep - it would be good if the app could do push notifications for your favourite deals, or have alerts emailed to you or something? Possible?
