Why would anyone want these? They're not useful for 3D movies in cinemas or on TV, which don't use red/green anymore.

  Apparently green / magenta is newer than the traditional red/cyan and has less issues with blurriness (chromatic aberration)
  
  Still, it's a good poor man's solution to viewing 3d videos. Goes well with Youtube.

  Minecraft uses Red/Cyan from memory. Green / Magenta won't work.
