        there is an option when logged into your amaysim account to activate a "replacement card", no need for live chat.

          I had to use live chat to activate with a store bought SIM, as the activate replacement option wasn't there. Live chat was very helpful, they put it through manually, just waiting for it to go through now, should take an hour or so apparently.

          Under manage plan option, it will say renews every 28 days. Click on that text, but as mentioned, it appears if you turn it off early you lose your remaining Balance

      Don't, if you turn off auto-renew you will forfeit the remaining free months. What you can do instead is change the payment method to Bpay, this way your credit card info is removed

    The cashback is 50cents (just ordered one) so the cost is actually $9.45. No drama it's a great price.

    It infers that the SIM needs to be activated by 21-6-2019 but Groupon assures me it has to be dome by the 30th of June (we are overseas till 26 June so I asked).

    Also what isn't that clear is your SIM will be posted to you.

    Typically you need to use an email not previously used when you activate the SIM.

      To complete the activation you'll need the sim. It takes (I think it said) 7-9 days to get to you. 21 + 9 = 30. That's likely why the 21-6 date.

      Buy $2 sim from coles/woolies, go to amaysim livechat, and ask to get deal transferred to new sim, as u cant wait for postage time.

      Yes, you don't need the physical sim to port. Just the correct details for the sim, i.e. owners number, name, birthday, etc.

      Basically buy the Groupon & follow the steps listed on the Groupon voucher. You can then choose to keep your number or get a new number.
      Either way they will post you a SIM - no charge for the SIM & free shipping!
      If you choose to get a new number then one really nice feature is a search ability to be able to type in 5 digits & it will try to match an available SIM phone number.
      After 28 days it will automatically recharge at no cost (and continue for the following 7 x 28 day periods) - no other activation codes or intervention needed.
      After the 8 x 28 days it will then revert to the $10/month plan, automatically recharging from your prefered payment method (unless you change it to Bpay in which case to need to recharge manually).
