Cool way to get customer info and hound you later.

    • That's what all the companies do including Woolworths & coles via their rewards cards. And regardless of you submitting your details anywhere or not, these businesses still find you.

I know, that’s why I said it was cool.

“You can’t hide. You can’t run. And when I find you… I will give you two free movie tickets.” ☠️

        • I don't want to run, I dont want to hide, I just want to sit and watch a movie for free.

        • Taken Part 4.

Sounds like a lot of work for a couple of movie tickets?

    • +5

Talking to their rep over the phone for 15-20 minutes for a couple of tickets worth $30-40 does not seem to be a hard work for ozbargainers.

      • $12.50 tickets from Telstra, HBF, RAC, etc. For $25, I'll avoid the hassle especially when they bug you further down the road…and I'm already with ME bank!

Spend $700,000 and get $50 in movie tickets….

@Wizard go back to the description of this deal. You don't have to avail their loan in order to get free tickets. Just talk to them and then say "Will think about it and get back to you" and you will still get the tickets.

      • They will pressure you. If only %5 sign up they made a few humdred k in i n intrest for $50.

You can always block calls and mark their emails as spam.

          Pressure them back.
This is my current interest rate. Can you better it? Yes then great. No Then goodbye.
          Pretty simple.

What advantages does this motor car home loan have over say.. a train business loan. Which I could also afford.

  • Too bad that their home loan rates are garbage.

  • How does one get the free tickets after the appointment?

    • "Terms: Double pass to the movies offer terms and conditions: We'll send you a unique code for an Event or Village Cinema double pass to your email address"

    • I had an appointment over the phone the other day. The guy I spoke to said the tickets should be emailed in a week or two.

  • I got a call from Me Bank and enquired about the loan and then asked about the tickets. The lady in the other end said that I need to book a face to face appointment and put in application for that. A phone call for enquiry or a face to face appointment for enquiry won't get me the tickets.

I couldn't find in their terms and conditions about a phone call enquiry. Seems like the post needs to be updated.

    • I spoke to someone over the phone and he confirmed I just have to go through his questions over the phone. Should receive my tickets soon.

    • First you get a call from their general rep and then he/she books you for either phone or face to face appointment as per your choice. I chose phone appointment and got one straight away and after talking to them for about 5-7 minutes, he told me that I will get my tickets via email soon.

    • The person I spoke to said that initially and then I booked an in-person appointment but he called about three hours later saying he checked and they can do it over the phone, so it'd be worth asking them to double check if you can.

  • How long after we register online do they call us back, as I registered last week and no one has called me yet.

  • Has anyone actually recieved any tickets?

    • Had a call on May 26 and just received the tickets this morning. It's about what you'd expect, two standard adult movie tickets. A bit dissapointing that it's not valid for Saturdays after 5pm but only cost five minutes of my time so can't complain. They don't expire until January 2020 which is good too, thought it'd be a much tighter window than that.

      • i hv done my appointment but hvn't received the email yet.
do you have a contact person whom i can ask for the movie voucher ?

      • I also had my appointment, but did not receive the movie tickets yet. Do you have a contact number that I could contact to follow up on the movie tickets.

    • Yes, I received my tickets today via email.
