I normally swear by booking.com for my accomodation but the Flight Centre prices with the 20% discount are much better. What does everyone tend to use for best prices?
Normally Hotels.com UK 10% coupons, but they do exclude the majors .. :-( .. !!
normally use agoda. but this sale is wayyyy better. shame i booked with agoda last friday - shoulda waited. oh well.
Normally book through Expedia using Mastercard 11% off but i will check other sites and get them to match if i find cheaper. I've booked 10K worth of hotels in the last couple of weeks and some that i have checked are definitely cheaper through this flight centre sale. Currently on the phone to expedia to get them to match some of the prices.
I've found that Cheaptickets with coupon code beats all the major ones.
Trivial coupon cap makes it little use for a serious trip. OK for one nighters I suppose.
To get a comparison of all aggregators, Just google the hotel name. Scroll down until you see a calendar box. Put your dates in (or just scroll through the whole month to find the best price).
Once dates are found, select "show more".
This will then provided a list of prices from everyone, such as Expedia, booking.com, hotel.com, Orbitz etc etc (with all taxes etc included).
Then chose the one you have the best coupon for..

Yup, managed to book hotel for Sydney yesterday, saved me almost $200! Good deal I reckon.
I have successfully booked for hilton moorea in December, saving about $280. Its also working on a dummy booking for new york.
Generally if there's a Marriott or Hyatt property, I book directly if there's a cheaper price on an OTA site, and Marriott/Hyatt will beat it by 25%.
I've done it twice now with no worries.

Didn't expect much but saw some decent rates with the discount applied and it worked on some chains that normally are excluded from the Expedia/Agoda coupons.
