Have literally zero use for it but still have an urge to buy it….

I know right. I don't even have a compatible gtx and I have it sitting in my cart because of the ridiculous price. lol

  • I thought SLI had diminished performance these days so wasnt worth it?

Depends on your definition of diminished. If you're expecting double the performance with 2 cards then no, otherwise there is an increase in performance for most games (specifically running higher res like 4k)

There are a lot of 0% increase perf for recent games there.

If it was me I think id stick to 1 card and drop the resolution to 2k if I wanted higher than 60FPS.

        Each there own I guess.

Seems to do OK in older games.

    • SLI and Crossfire is really not worth it these days for gaming. The price/performance ratio both on upfront purchase and running cost is terrible. A second GPU will draw quite a bit of power.

Unless you have a specific use case like regularly crunching big-data for data science/AI modelling I wouldn't recommend it.

  • Want it really bad but the $15 shipping kills the deal for me since I have literally 0 use for it and can't justify it.. :(
