Been chatting with the ProductReview Rep for the past few days to get this deal updated with fresh categories and terms. This is not just for new reviewers. Anyone can enter and redeem a gift card, provided the following conditions are met. Please read on:

  • Please log in and check the homepage. You will see a review counter indicating you how many reviews you require in order to receive the gift card. The presence/absence of the review counter on the homepage indicates your current eligibility (ie you'll see the counter if you haven't redeemed a card at all, or if you redeemed one previously but it has been reset in the lead-up to this post). If you can't see the counter it means you are not eligible for this giveaway, most likely because you redeemed a gift card for this promotion very recently.

  • Please read the T&Cs and FAQs. They're short and simple. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

  • Proof of product purchase (any one of: receipt, photo of product with your ProductReview display name next to it, tax invoice, contract, email exchange between you and the company, etc) is now mandatory for this giveaway. This is due to attempts at gaming the system by some, so we've had to implement this additional check.

  • Gift cards are not sent immediately. They are sent via email on the first business day of each month to the registered email address of ProductReview.com.au members who wrote their fourth approved and published eligible review in the previous month. Your email address must be verified to receive the gift card, and each member is eligible to receive only one gift card from this promotion. Individuals are not permitted to create multiple accounts in order to receive multiple gift cards for this promotion.

  • We regularly run additional targeted giveaways which are announced through our email lists.

  • Please refrain from creating multiple accounts as this will null your eligibility for the gift card.

Since the last time this was posted here, we've also launched our Ambassador Program. This is a program where some of our best users can receive new and pre-release products to review and keep. For example, we recently gave out 75 Dyson V11 vacuums! Participation in this program is by invitation only, and we're currently actively looking for new participants who we hand-pick based on the number, frequency, and quality of their reviews.

    Wow! Great deal, do note this point though:

    So can't just smash out 4 reviews, need to grab receipts first. Maybe do it after weekly shop :)

      You might've read this already but the proof of purchase requirement here can be met by taking a photo of said product with a piece of paper with your username on it :).

    Could do a couple CC's but the effort of proofing one for me not worth it .

      As long as it's still available from major retailers it should be fine. If it's marked as discontinued on PR then it won't be eligible.

          Hey, I can't guarantee it without looking at your actual account, but I would say it's most likely that you're eligible again. If you can see the review counter telling you about this giveaway on the homepage (when you're logged in) then you're eligible.

                @nsta8487: Hi, just confirming again because although you said if I can see the review counter with the deal on the home page I'm eligible, just looked through the terms and they say "Each individual member is eligible to receive one gift card for the duration of this promotion.". Promo period is 2017-2019.

                  @Bargainbeth: It's correct that our conditions state that each member is eligible to receive one gift card.
                  However, we made an exception specifically for users who redeemed a gift card last time this promo was posted here.
                  In general, if you've received a gift card for this promotion in 2019, it's unlikely you're eligible for a 2nd one.
                  The best way to tell if you are eligible for a card (whether it's your 1st or 2nd), is if the review counter is visible to you on the homepage when you are logged in.

      the entire site is setup to make money from fake reviews, a business will pay for access to respond to reviews and ahem…. paid "customers" also get a blind eye turned to blatant fake 5 star reviews, even in the thousands. How many people leave genuine 5 star reviews for something they bought they like? not many

      how many people whinge immediately anywhere they can for something of poor quality, poor service, whatever…. ? this is their bread and butter

        I would argue this current gift card promotion helps eliminate some of the issues you have highlighted. Now people give honest reviews who are confirmed to have purchased the item, there is no incentive to give a 5 star review for this promotion but just an honest review.

    Great deal, but it would take me few hours to search for the receipts :P

    I remember a lady coming to my house on a Saturday morning couple of years ago to answer some 50 odd questions about supermarkets etc and I got a $20 Coles gift card. Had a nice chat with her while drinking my morning coffee and netted the $20 :P that was easy :D

      It says in the website that you can write your username and website name on a piece of paper and take a picture with that and the product together and it'll be counted as proof of purchase.

    As in the other thread, very difficult to achieve this. You need receipts with all of them and others say they really give you a hard time with getting them approved.

    I did 4 and then removed them. Waste of time.

      Doesn't have to necessarily be a receipt. From the Write Review page:

      "A proof of purchase can be one of the following:

      A photo of the product with your ProductReview.com.au display name next to it, see example
      A tax invoice
      A contract
      An email exchange between you and the company"

          If it asked for a receipt i would have provided them as they're all products I've had, but it didn't and i never got the gift card. So i stopped using it simply because it said I'd get something which i didn't.

          To those negging me i hope you have the same thing happen lol

            @Wilder94: The same happened to me. I did 5 with receipts. They have said I will get it, dragged and make it longer. Finally, they said the promotion finished.

    For Proof of Purchase Document, it says 'Can be a photo of the product with your ProductReview.com.au display name next to it' so you don't need actually need your invoice/receipt.

    I've written 2 reviews, both on the eligible products and uploaded the receipt but it won't move past '1st review'

      The reviews need to be published, not just submitted. If this involves manually checking them it could take a day or two depending on how many are currently in the queue to be processed.

          Hey wilder, based on this info I found your account in our system and you were emailed a gift card on the 1st of August last year, but I can see that it was never accessed, so I would guess it got filtered into your Spam folder and you never saw it.
          If you like I can PM you the link to the card (they're valid for 4 years so it's not at risk of expiring any time soon), or I can re-send it to the email associated with your ProductReview account.

    Sorry, I hate Product Review with an absolute passion from a business perspective.
    One of the worst review platforms out there. You can complain about items several years old with no warranty.
    They do not care about fake reviews. If you are a business and a competitor puts on fake reviews or customers trying to bully you into free servicing after several years or they are not even a customer and you flag it, they constantly respond saying they will do nothing and do not need to ask for proof of purchase on these.

    I did this awhile ago and received my giftcard. I think the confusion is from people not submitting their receipts to confirm their purchase. I had that trouble at first, I submitted my 2nd review but it was still telling me my first review wasn't eligible for the gift card because I required a receipt.
