      Oh ok, sorry about that. The Rep did inform me earlier that that particular cable was low on stock so they might have disabled the coupon. I will update the post accordingly.

    I have no idea why but I added the desk mat to cart, it already had a discounted rate of about $14~, added the coupon code (because why not) and then it brought it down to about $8.79 delivered with prime, which of course was taken from the gift card issued from the sad times hdd refund but hey, desk mat! didn't see the need to get more than one.

    Hi OP,

    I bought the 1m cables and have recieved it today.

    Plug one of the cable into the USB-C charger and the Samsung S8 says cable charging not fast charge.
    Tested the cables with tranferring data and it's only capable of upto 169 Mb/s not 10Gbps as advertised.

    Are these fake cables because I have tested these cables with 2 S8s and tranferring data with 3 different computers with pretty much the same results?

    Edit: Also it's a lot slower at tranferring data the the cable that came with my USB C RAID-0 external enclosure.

      Hi Tam,

      Sorry to hear that you have been having issues with the cable.

      With regards to Samsung Adaptive fast charging, as long as you are charging the phone using the original samsung charger, the cable should charge the phone and display Fast Charging. If it is not, then you might have a bad cable.

      With your other comment w.r.t. 169 Mb/s vs 10Gbps, a lot of times the data transfer is limited by the device capability rather than the cable itself. Have you tested the same with any other cable you might have for comparison?

      In any case, if you are not happy with your purchase or suspect you might have a bad cable (which it looks like it is), please pm me your order number and I will speak with the Rep to issue you a refund.
