  • So I can get a butt massage with this?

    • +15

Picture 8 show massage function at the APP.

    • +1

Perhaps with wifi and a smart power adapter, remotely bestow an unexpected butt massage.

    • +1

yes, but you need to pay extra…

also don't tell others about this
else the toilets will always be occupied

  • +6

I'm just here for the comments.

  • +2

How hard is it to install one of these?

    • If you have power point, it will be very quick install. I installed it around 15 mins.

      • +1

LOL took me a while to get my head around this power point, i was wondering what Microsoft powerpoint has to do something with the toilet seat :-)

        • +3

Hey when you got to prepare a presentation and you got the runs.

          • @xoom: Just spat my coffee all over my keyboard…

  • +11

LOL Whale spout. The names just keep getting better and better.

By the way, having a whale spout blowing water up your arse is certainly a good way to get your pipes flushed out if your pipes are clogged.

  • +9

If I had a PowerPoint next to toilet I would get one…

    • +18

      That Word be Excel-lent

    • +2

I’ll just let that one slide

    • +2

I wish I had this in my 'Office'… I would definitely use this '365' days a year

      • No way jose cause you will Yammer all about it all the Teams in your Office!

      • Planning to give your a** a break in the leap year. I suggest don't do that or else it might break even more next day.

  • Is installing the app mandatory for using this toilet seat? (no app no wee-wee?) It will be a challenge for visitors.

    • +1

You can use basic features by one clicks, you can also use other features with combined-key operations. You can share your device to your family members with MI HOME APP, so machine can memorise their personal setting which is really smart.

      • +8

I am quite regular. The Mi App will broadcast my usage to China and I will most likely be attacked in a war with China when I am in the toilet. NOT A FAIR BATTLE!

        • +7

You can always sink the battleship!

          • @lostinsydney: Sometimes they tend to float back up even after flushing. Weird how that works.

      • +2

Sharing with family and friends like fitbit does, how many times you go and how much you do

        • Friend: what? You went to the toilet 5 times today. Pfft. Hold my beer.

  • There are Australian standards for toilet seats?

    • Yes.

    • +6

      Beer holders are mandated.

    • +2

electricity + water + butt + poor standards = shocking

  • My sink is next to the toilet, do I need to buy extra equipment to split the water? Not sure if one of the included items serves this function.

    • T connector included. But 400 bucks for a toilet seat is kinda expensive

    • +1

it uses power to heat the water, no hot water connectors needed

  • Op any warranty?

    • 12 months local warranty.

  • +15

Hmmm… uses MiHome app, so must be some compatibility with Google Assistant.

    Hey Google

    Wash and massage my butt.

    😮

    • +19

What a time to be alive.

  • +1

Can you send a link to the installation instructions? I'd like to see how the water and power is connected. In the images I can't see any writing or water pipe. Is it a sleek modern hidden design for water pipe and power? As many modern toilets you can't see the water pipe connection.

  • Weight rating?

  • +6
    • Pulse massage, give you a new experience

    This makes me nervous

  • in all the pictures you dont see the power cord- if renovating a bathroom now - is it possible to "disappear" the cable?? If so - how?

    • Please check picture 12, It would be hard to hide your power cable.

      • So all the other pictures are lying to us

    • Sure just cut the cable

  • do i need to be connected to the wifi to use this?

    • 6 function buttons on the side, you can access basic features by one clicks, you can also use other features with combined-key operations. If you need more features, you need to connect to wifi.

    • If only Huawei made smart toilet seats. They could spy on our crap via WiFi

  • +3

If there was an actual visible control pad on the side like the Japanese toilets I would buy. Not the best design having buttons built on the side panel where you can't see. I don't particularly want to be handling the phone when I'm using the toilet …

    • I have a Panasonic one like that. I prefer this one because it is unobtrusive. You soon learn where to press which button.

    • If its Mi Home, i'm sure google or Alexa can control it for you

  • Random question, I was hoping to install one in the house I just built… But I've noticed the new toilets have the hose inside the cistern.

Anyone had experience with this? I can't figure out how I could access the water.

    • Please check this

      • is that a hole you had to drill into the side?

    • +1

When you build a house make sure your plumber do an extra mini tap next to the toilet seat as an extension. That's all you need

    • Being a new home, I'm assuming your toilet uses rain water first and then switches to mains water if the tank is empty?

How are you going to bypass the tank for your toilets?

This is assuming of course that you don't want grey water (with potential for larvae etc) spraying into your orifices…

  • I believe there are more sharks in Australia than whales.

  • +2

POOPY would be a better code.

  • +1

I'll wait for lite version..for affordable price ..so next enhancement will have function like apply lotion after heated air dryer?

    • That is the model before with no heating and smarts

  • Does it take the same fittings as the earlier models? I.e. can i just swap the seat or will the earlier model Xiaomi hoses connect to this?

    • similar fitting, but could not swap with old version.

  • +1

Looks like Chinese are trying to peep through every 'A' hole as possible.

    • I hear it has rectal scanner.

      • And will it report to me if I need more fibre in my diet?

        • Yes and add fibre food to your online shopping order and report you to your doctor and health fund.

  • +2

Any gaurentee Xiaomi wont send poo data to huawei using 5G network in future..dont want to upset Mr President

  • I'm not sure warm air when I've just finished depositing a few logs is a good mix.

If the warm air comes after its flushed, then I'd need to survive the torment of copping flush-spray all over me.

    • I think its

      1. Poop
      2. Spray butt
      3. Warm air
      4. Flush

Apparently its got a fan beneath the seat which sucks up air into a carbon filter.

  • Hi. Is the spray pressure purely dependent on your mains water pressure or does it have an inbuilt pump?
I have a Smartmi and the jet isn't as strong as I'd like.
    Cheers!

    • In built. The original has different levels not sure about this one.

  • I saw one in my hotel in Japan, I doubt that this thing is clean of you know what in the long run, was not confident using it. A bidet is better if you have room in your bathroom.

  • How to install this if there is no power point nearby?

  • Any youtube video of this model?

  • How is this different from Xiaomi smart seat which is much cheaper

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/424488

    • +1

      This one is smarter

  • This is the new pro version

At what point ate you deemed a 'pro' at using a toilet (seat?)

    • +3

      When you don't fall in.

  • Does it have google home or alexa control

  • Bidet is one of the best investments ever, especially if you have a hairy butt and take a lot of wipes.

  • Is there a remote you can stick on the wall like the BioBidet? or app/side buttons only?

    • App/side buttons only. you can access basic features by one clicks, you can also use other features with combined-key operations, manual will indicate all that information.

    • double side tap an old android phone to the wall

  • So you could be sitting in the porcelain throne and someone could be playing funny buggers from outside in the app…

    • +3

You say it like its a bad thing.

    • The kids with the app on their ipads

  • How long is the power cord?

    • 1.5 meters.

    • More importantly, how many Enepoops does it need?
