JB are having a run out of these. Just purchased for $1274 as mentioned it was this price previously as their price match with Amazon. You could even try $1250 or lower with sales staff. Some stock still available for cash/efpos transaction to get this extra low price. Normally $1549 at JB. Has been a lot higher at previous times and stores.

Weighing less than 1kg, the elegant Swift 5 combines ultimate portability with smooth usability. A unique blend of alloys deliver an impressively light yet durable design, while enhanced display features ensure you receive a best-in-class visual experience.

      You're welcome, but not.

  • Pretty decent option if you want a super-light 15"

According to NotebookCheck's review of the 15 inch i7+16GB+512GB variant:-

    • The Type-C port includes DisplayPort-via-USB-C functionality (with an adapter that has to be purchased separately). The notebook can also be recharged via this port - we tried.

    • The SSD cannot be exchanged for a faster model, as the storage device is firmly soldered onto the motherboard. However, the Swift 5 does have another free M.2 2280 slot that can be connected to a suitable SSD. This slot only accepts NVMe SSDs; we tried connecting a SATA III model without success.

    • The RAM is firmly soldered on.

  • This laptop is useful for any home or work flow activities. The large touch screen makes it very easy to have multiple applications up for research. There is also a i7 with 16G, 512G SSD, but don't believe it is on sale. Plus its a lot more.

For the price its great if you want a large screen and light for travelling laptop.

  • I am tempted to get it, but just trying to figure out how to get it on an interest free deal.

    • They have HSBC usually 12-24m and Latitude Finance up to 50m

  • Oh boo, no stock in Canberra.

    • Try Harvey Norman store to see if they have any and can at least match jb online price. Still reasonable at $1316. Assume they won't go lover as listed as $1598 online HN

      • HN says they won't price match with interest free if the other retailer doesn't offer interest free.

        • Will they do $1274 Efpos or cash though for others that can't find it at JB. Aussume they'll only go with the jb website price.
