  • link still show 1%?

    • We're seeing 10% - if you're seeing 1% then it may be due to caching. You can still proceed with your purchase though. As long as your purchase is between 10am and 11.59pm AEST (inclusive) today then you'll get the 10% rate.

Can confirm it's 10% - ccgoh1983 try doing "Ctrl + F5" that will redownload the page and not use the old cache

Can we stack with Amex offer? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/459545

Have you read the description above or you just cbf reading it..?

  • +1

I'm so sad, I made a chemist warehouse order yesterday afternoon through shopback when it was only at 1%

  • Thanks OP will couple with Amex deal and stock up on some manuka honey

  • What is AmEX?

    • +1

It’s short form of American Express Credit Card.

      • Is it easy to get it?

    One day too late =(

  • Shopback has become a joke. I have had my Woolworths rejected for no reason, it was a large purchase on a 7% cashback night.

I now have zero confidence in this site. Multiple orders on my computer not tracked, no ad blocker yet all my orders show as clicked in click history. Shopback are now deciding when and why to pay cashback.

    • Did you contact shopback via method on website to ask?

      • Yes and all I get is ‘we are investigating’. The only reason I know about the rejection is I went looking for it. No email about it, no reason why other than the standard terms and conditions which I didn’t violate any of.

    • Did you send a follow up email regarding the rejection? I'm more than happy to help get this sorted if you're able to PM your account email address.

      • Yes I sent an email. I’ll PM you now and like to keep this transparent so people can see the process.

        • Thanks for sending it through, your issue should be all sorted now, but let me know if you have any other queries.

          • +2

@gotyourback: Thank you, it’s now sorted after the rejection notice. You will have your work cut out for you if you have to manually approve everyone Ozbargainer who’s order gets rejected or not tracked! But thank you.

    • Gotyourback is very helpful and I am starting to gain my confident back

    • +1

Same here for Holidaycars.com… Click history is there but nothing is tracked or happens, including when claiming missing cashback. Why do I have to rely on OzBargain to get support?

  • Does using gift card affect the cashback eligibility?

    • Don't think you can redeem gift cards online at Chemist Warehouse? But if you have a code that you need to enter in the "Voucher Code" field then it would affect cashback.

  • Rep, quick question about Catch.com.au cash back. Does 12% apply to Toys & Games including Board Games?

    • +1

      Yep it does.

  • +2

Personally I've found Shopback not very efficient. I used a browser extension which indicated the cashbacks were tracked, but these never appeared in my account. After sending follow-up claims, one claim was rejected for no reason, and two other claims had less cashback than advertised (7% instead of 20%).

    • Happy to look into this for you, could you PM me your ShopBack email address?

    • +1

Thanks for sending your email address, I've taken a look and have just fixed everything up for you.

  • +1

had no issue with Shopback until I used expedia for booking - I had 4 bookings through expedia, they were shown as calculating before my trip and now they are all confirmed at $0. Not sure what happened!?

    • Could you send over an email to [email protected] about this so they can investigate?

  • yeah same. tracking seems to be off. had to request a review on my groupon purchase few month ago. now 4 of my chemistwarehouse purchases didn't show up.

    • If you haven't yet for these 4 - could you please submit your claims here:
      https://www.shopback.com.au/account/missingcashback

If it's 4 transactions I'm thinking it may be something on your device as we do see many transactions in coming in fine (could be ad blockers, antivirus software, unknowingly clicking through a different publisher, cross-site tracking disabled etc). If you need help with anything else, send over a PM with the details and I'll be more than happy to help.

  • Shop back rates are so much better than Cashrewards!

  • OP do U have increase cash back for Groupon?

    • Not today but stay tuned!

      • Can we get another Aliexpress increase cashback again shortly too :) Thanks!

  • The referral link not working

I'm new to shopback and would like to get the $5

    • Assuming you're referring to the grey box under the post description? If yes, what if you click on the Random link again?

      • Thanks , signed up and got the $5
Also purchased $150 worth from chemistwarehouse which will get me $15, right?

        • +1

Not quite, cashback is calculated on the ex-GST price.

  • I have Shopback app in my phone which took me to Chemist warehouse'app for 10% cashback where I shopped. Is this purchase eligible for cash back?

    • Which device (iOS/Android) are you using? Unfortunately purchases through the Chemist Warehouse will not qualify for cashback.

      Cashback is not qualified for:

      • Promo codes or voucher codes not approved by ShopBack
      • Gift card purchases unless otherwise stated
      • Returns, exchanges & cancellations
      • Purchases through the Chemist Warehouse mobile app
      • Prescription purchases
      • I am using android app. Shopback app takes you to chemist warehouse app automatically and you shop as usual. This is deceiving as the cash back through shopback usually is applicable regardless of website or app.

        • +2

Purchases through the apps of the majority of our partner stores are actually not applicable for cashback (all relevant stores have this stipulated in their T&Cs).

Plus, there may be still time to cancel your order and reorder. You can login to your Chemist Warehouse account and there should be a cancel option. If you don't have an account you can indeed create one using the email address you used at checkout and your order should appear in your history.

I've just installed the Chemist Warehouse app myself and can't replicate what you've mentioned. Do you mind dropping me a PM with a screen recording of the process?

  • What's good to buy for $100 at CW?

    • plenty of protection could be one!

      • No need on that front. Wife infertile.

  • Sorry to change subject, but does anyone know how long the Lenovo 13% cashback offer will run for ?
    Thanks.

    • +1

Exactly what I'm trying to find out. The email suggests until the EOFY but it's not explicit.

I'm holding out for the X1 Carbon gen 7 but after announcing it in Jan and suggesting it will arrive in June there has been no news at all. It feels like a delay is on the cards.

    • +1

It ends on the 10th, you may refer to the banners on our homepage for expiry dates of some of the major offers.

  • thanks for the upsize.. now wait on amazon.

  • Is there david jones 7% cashback coming back?

    • Unfortunately it won't be.

  • -1

Beware guys, ShopBack has not been giving 10% cashback as promoted. My cashback tracked for my purchase was only 9.09%. Make sure you check your account.

    • +1

This is because cashback is calculated on the pre GST amount.

      Cashback notes

Excludes taxes, fees or additional extras

      • i see where they are coming from, but again..
their competitor cashrewards arent doing that….
oh well, gonna give them a try and see if their service is worth the 0.91% less :)

        • Not true - whether cashback is paid on the GST inclusive or exclusive amount is decided by the store themselves, not us :)

This varies, some stores pay cashback on GST inclusive prices, others don't.

    • Have been a frequent Cashrewards user and at least you get the cashback % of what they advertised….

First time using ShopBack and got the transaction notification email from Shopback this morning.

They are so sneaky they excluded GST amount…this is not fair as GST is included in the price, not like the States they calculate it separately…. my Chemist Warehouse receipt does not even mention the GST component on the order receipt! :(

      • That would depend on the store you purchase from, as we've explained above this varies from store to store.

If a particular store doesn't pay cashback on GST inclusive prices, then it would apply to everyone. You'll find it is exactly the same case that cashback for Chemist Warehouse is paid on the pre-GST price with CR.
