  If i were to go to bangkok and also thailand, what would someone recommend me to do. Should i set arrival to phuket and departure from bangkok??

              @aerona: It's a 9-10 hour drive from Phuket to Bangkok.

              Taxis aren't cheap in Phuket btw. Actually I'm not sure anyone would take you that far, but there's bound to be solutions.

              As for itinery I think you need to look up some travel advice on google rather than take the word of Ozbargain. They would give better advice.

              There's a lot of islands on Phuket, and you need to go out by boat to see them obviously. You'd have to spend a number of days there. Depending on where you stay, the drive to the pier could be a long drive also.

              Whether you should go to both places in one trip depends how long you are staying there.
