      Full HD?

      • +1

I only got a gtx 970, so nothin more than 1080p for me

      • +7

1080p is ok at 24" plus its easier to hit that frame rate

Who the hell downvoted this? All truth haha.

      Full HD
      Poor peak brightness
      Curved
VA screen (neg if you like good viewing angles, pro if you like darker blacks)
      Poor colour accuracy.

      I would get this instead:

Curved at 24 is just weird

    • No freesync either

      • +2

        it has freesync

        • Wooooops. No freesync 2

  • Someone explain to me why 75hz and 155hz is better than 60hz?
I bought a monitor today (hasn't been shipped) and it has 75hz + Freesync.

    • +1

75Hz refreshes 75 times a second. 155Hz refreshes at 155. Assuming you have a graphics card that can pump out that many frames, it makes for much smoother gameplay. 60Hz looks stuttery and uh by comparison.

      • OK thanks, yes I have a RX580 8GB and looking to test it out on.
        Thanks Miss Kitty

        • I'd refer to it as "image permanence" in the sense that with quick mouse movements in first person shooters, and to a lesser extent third person games, the game world doesn't disappear in a blur when you flick the mouse. This means your aiming is much better, less tiring on the eyes, and just looks "better" and "more immersive", particularly once you try to go back to 60fps.

      • It isn't just gameplay, you can tell the difference when just using your computer normally - everything is so much smoother.
