    • +1

good plan if only ALDI chocolate didn't taste like crap

      • +1

Define how it tastes like crap please

        • +3

Gavman is a 'crap' connoisseur. Don't doubt him.

    • I was just saying this the other day to my wife, how they've gotten smaller! Thats the world we live in though, things get smaller, price goes up

      • "For health reason"

        /s

      • +2

A glass and a half of milk in every 200g.
        Block size: 180g.

      • Go watch the man who made us spend ;)

I was just saying this the other day to my wife, how they've gotten smaller!

Did you tell her it's because of the cold weather ?

        • I WAS IN THE POOL! I WAS IN THE POOL!

  • Meh, wait few days itll prob be 2.50 at coles

Competition only valid if purchased from Woolworths.

      • are all of those varieties applicable for the competition?

        • I've only seen the Milk Chocolate Variant specially marked.

  • +1
    • Yep…

200g for $2 is much better value than $3 for 162-190g

      No deal…

      • Agreed ! Although maybe short-dated hence the price reduction ??

        • +1

          maybe short-dated

          Where does it say that?

          https://www.bigw.com.au/product/cadbury-dairy-milk-chocolate…

          • @jv: Maybe !

Cadbury announced the reduced size back in Feb 2019 so I assume they ceased producing the 200g size around that time

            • @[Deactivated]:

              Maybe !

Maybe the Woolworths ones are short dated too then…

              • @jv: Woolworths promotion doesn't include the 200g size

      • +1

Wow, jv negging a moderator's deal.

Fair point though. And this price is very common.
If the deal here is to get the $5 gift card then it should be in the title

        • Wow, jv negging a moderator's deal.

          Read the voting rules…

          I'm just following the rules.

          Negative Vote
          ● The deal is not the cheapest available
          ● Defective product
          ● Major issues with retailer

    • Big W has 200g for $2 or $3 for 180g. WTF craziness is that!?

      • Which ones are you getting ?

        • Hmmm, The $3 block costs more so it must taste better? :P

      • Everything is cheaper in larger amounts

    • That's normal (non sale) price at The Reject Shop https://www.rejectshop.com.au/All-Products/Grocery/Confectio…

  • Thanks. Will buy few.

  • I bought a box of Favourites the other day and was in absolute disbelief how small the chooclates are nowadays. I remember as a kid getting a Freddo Frog and they were nearly the size of my palm. Now they're bloody tiny.

    Ahhh, capitalism.

    • +1

As you have grown, so has your palm.

Aldi choc is the way to go i stopped buying cadburys years ago .Its made in Germany my kids and family love it .fyi

    • -4

Aldi items are very low and cheap quality. You get what you pay. There is no comparison with world class Cadbury.

      • +1

There is no comparison with world class Cadbury.

You're pulling our leg? Or you've never travelled outside Australia,

        Which is it?

      • lol dis guy. Mateee, you ever had some Moser Roth? Never bought Cadbury even at half price after trying it.

  • The Phantom would usually be right into this, but since commencing the Putnum Memorial Diet he's out of the picture on this one.

Though having said that, The Phantom remembers a time when these were 250g, then went down to 200g, and then went down to damnation.

  • Nah. $3 just ain't special enough.
