    FYI - i emailed before buying this deal. It's really contradict with the spreets support earlier comments regarding surcharge for 3D in IMAX.

    We apologize for any inconveniences caused but in the fine print it stated "Standard Cinema Saver terms & conditions apply." By reading the fine print it says there would be a surcharge placed on movies over 60 minutes. In highlights it stated "Choose any of the latest blockbuster flicks" which means you are able to select any of the available blockbuster movies, but never stated that there aren't any surcharges. We urge customers to read the fine print before purchasing any deal so they understand all the terms and conditions.

      I don't care what the heck the surcharge is. I just want my tickets.It is useless to discuss anything else if I pay them but I don't get my tickets.

      mate, Your post is related to the other deal (Cinema Savers). not this one (AMV).
      move your posdt to the correct deal.

    Spreets Sucks big time.
    Pirates 4 is no longer showing in imax and I still don't have my tickets. I bought a total of 6 cause I wanted to see Pirates and now Pirates is no longer showing in imax. Spreets you Suck big time.

    I am very unhappy with Spreets $8 AMV Movie tickets offer (Worst offer ever from spreets)
    I purchased 6 tickets on the 9th of June, the vouchers email was delayed by more than 1 day and I ended up filling my details on 11th of June. Today is the 27th of June and I still don't have my tickets which is pretty annoying.
    And what is even more annoying is that I bought 6 tickets in which I wanted to use 2 of them to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 4 as your listing advises that those tickets can be used to watch Pirates 4. Well guess what Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is no longer showing in the cinemas and I still don't have my tickets. I don't believe I have to wait over than 17 days for my purchase especially that the whole validity period is 90 days only. That's almost 20% of the validity period gone and I still don't have my tickets.
    My question is how are you going to rectify the situation. I am totally sick from being asked to wait a few more days each time I email support asking where are my 6 tickets ?????
    so again where are my 6 tickets?
    what are you going to do about me loosing 20% of the validity period at least? and loosing the opportunity to see pirates of the caribbean 4?

    1st time poster… got my 20 tix today woohoo (bought it on 11/6)!

    By the way these are pretty cheap for Imax Sydney. I've used these vouchers in the past and they didn't charge a surcharge for feature films or for the 3D movies! Only catch is you'd probably want to redeem the vouchers for actual tickets a few days before to get good seats… And from my previous experiences you can't book online because they're vouchers.. still worth it though!!

        You'd have to redeem the voucher/s in person to get the actual session tickets (you choose the actual session and seats when you redeem)… If you work in the city then it's just a walk down darling harbour..

        Took a bit of tries getting used to but I found that if you want the best seats a week early is best :-). And you can always check online at Imax to see if there are still seats available for the session you're after.

        Unfortunately the spreets vouchers are not the same as the amv vouchers… looks like the spreets vouchers are only for claiming the amv vouchers from AMV. You'd need the physical amv vouchers to redeem session tix.

        to watch movies lol… nah but with friends and family.

        With these amv vouchers I've seen alice in wonderland 3d, dark knight, watchmen and a few others. All with no surcharge, redeeming at the counter + free sun herald newspaper when you get the ticket. Hopefully it's still the same!

      There is no surchange in imax if you are using the AMV voucher.
