    I tried the Ballast Point before, it's not amazing but the flavour is more than acceptable.

  Even Keel has been on clearance for over a month and is sold out in most stores. It is short dated (June 2019) and won't be available again.

  I bought 3 cartons last month. FWIW, it's the best mid strength beer I have ever tasted. Sad to see it go.

    Give Balter's Captain Sensible a try if you haven't already. I was a big Even Keel fan but switch over to Captain Sensible a few months ago. Haven't looked back.

      You folks speak sense. I despise mid-strength beers on priciple, but these two are very good.

      The Pirate Life Throwback mentioned above is also very good, but too expensive! CUB are charging a full strength price but paying reduced excise on the product.

        the pirate life throwback was on sale 2 x 6 pack for $35 at BWS which is the best price i've seen it for. It's definitely my favourite
