    Microwave Chips

Haven't tried these but I can't imagine them being good

    • +8

Yeah, "crunch" and "microwave" generally don't go together.
But for free I'll give it a crack moosh.

    • +5

      They are horrible!!!!

    • +1

They are absolutely foul. They're not even worth the amount you pay for them in this deal.

I never get these targeted Woolworths deals. Never in the last 7 years. What am I doing wrong?

    • Me too. I get lots of Coles, but nothing from Woolies.

    • +1

Same, I even called them up about it previously and they couldn’t give me an explanation as to why I didn’t!

    • +2

Same with me! I even started a new rewards account and have spent over $100 and still no offers.

      • Wow, over $100 at a supermarket, are you good for the year now?

    • Same, I get no emails compared to other people yet am signed up to them all.

      Woolworths computer says no.

    • +2

Probably you are buying a lot at ww. Give them rest for a few weeks.

      • I shop almost exclusively at Aldi so shopping even less at Woolworths isnt going to help me…lol. But like those above, Never gotten one of these in the past. Get plenty of Coles ones though.

The chips aren't too bad to be honest. Certainly better than the McCain Microwave chips by a long way. As a side note I eat lots of chips…

"Certainly better than the McCain Microwave chips"

Sounds like a low bar to be honest.

      Casino chips?

  • Come on! Maybe its good, just maybe…

    • I could listen to this guy's aussie strine accent all day.

He may have missed his calling as a advertising voice-over guy.

    • Is this guy legit or is he putting on a persona?

  • Got it. Thx OP

While all the chip fans are here - what's the best chips to cook in an airfryer?

    • Coles beer batter steakhouse are pretty decent

    • +1

      Potato.

Mccains Pub Style with Signature Seasoning.
Mccains are well known for making the best frozen potato chips.

Edgell diamond cut come a close second, but you can only buy these as foodservice.

    • +1

Birds Eye Deli Style for me.

Any flavour. Just make sure you don't overfill the airfryer.

Yep, I got them. The question is which one to get. Shoestring or Crinkle?

Today I also picked up my Woolworths Extra Tasty Cheese Slices 500g for free too. #Winning

  • Seem to be getting missed out on the name brand promos, but at least they make it up to me in home brand freebies (collecting mud cake this week to celebrate my club birthday).

  • It's not bad but I wouldn't pay for these. It's more like potato chips you'd find in a bag rather than proper potato chips, the insides are nearly hollow.

  • I picked up the crinkle cut chips on Wednesday night. I had them tonight and they are like the chips I heat up in the oven (and are crispy/crunchy), but then I have left over chips and I put them on a plate in the fridge and then reheat them the next day and they look like they are crispy/crunchy but they are really a bit soft/soggy and chewy.

I would not buy these to be honest, unless they were super cheap (under $2), but it was nice to try them.
