    • Did you use the code for 1 month free ?

      • Yes . It asked you during the signing up process

        • I wonder if you can just port out to another provider within 30 days.

  • I know its an old thread, but can anyone confirm what latency do they get for Singapore Steam servers?
I'm planning to make a jump from Leaptel to Superloop as Leaptel has been horrible lately. I'm living in VIC

      • Hey warsome, can you help me get connected to SL if you're associated.

      • I idle at 130ms steam SG servers

  • Where are their nbn settings published
I dont see anything on their website ?!

    • You dont need any. Superloop use DHCP assignment so depending on your last mile just need to plug in a router with "obtain ip address automatically"

      • hi, currently on pppoe using asus dsl-ac68u merlin fw. can i use existing modem/router on switch to SL? fttb melbourne btw

A bit late to the party, however I have just moved to a house with FTTP (yes, I know).

I've just signedup with SL and can confirm the code in the OP works.

First month free, $0 signup, $0 connection fee.

    • How long does it take to connect? I'm planning to move from Aussie after my 6 months promo.. If I sign-up a week before the intended start date, will the porting happen on time? Or should I give more notice?

      • I signed up online and I received an SMS within 10 mins to say my service was active.

        • That's cool.. Any specific modem settings that needs to be configured? Or is it 'Obtain IP automatically'?

Is it easy to cancel with superloop after the trial?

    • Yes, can anyone advise if it is easy to cancel after trial? any personal experiences?

      • I cant see why there would be any issue. Simply call another ISP and get them to be your new buddies.

  • Any recommended wireless router to go with their nbn?

    • +1

I bought an ASUS AC68U. Plenty to read on Whirlpool.

  • I have FTTP (Sydney Metro) at my place but its system only shows Superloop Fixed Wireless. Strange.

  • Can you please add a way for us to schedule in advance? My current ABB expires in two weeks and want to register now but have the service activated later. All the other providers have this feature

    • +1 for me. Same situation, guess I will just have to wait a couple of weeks and hope the code still works.

    • Bargaingeek

Any luck with scheduling? I'm on the same boat, want the service active from next week but no option to do. Appreciate your inputs.

      • +1

Call them after you sign up online. That's what I did.

        • Cool, will do tomorrow morning then. I don't want the service to be ported while I'm sleeping (losing the remaining days with ABB) :)

          Thanks so much!

  • Just signed up using code, looking forward to try a different ISP.

Can anyone confirm that you can cancel without penalty in the first month?

      Same, can anyone confirm?

just signed up and made the switch from AussieBB. They couldn't service existing customers with a deal or price match so… sucks for them.

  • So glad the coupon is still active since my AussieBB was due to expire this week, I noticed AussieBB had a big discount going on with $20 off for 6 months when i called them they firmly refused to discount for me I’ve been with them for more than 1 year, lately their speeds on US VPN and other international servers are slow. So I decided to cancel AussieBB

I was nervous about super loop but so happy now, service activated within a day and speeds are awesome even on US VPN and gaming on international servers, they are also cheaper anyway than AussieBB so glad I switched over plus free internet for a month is great can’t complain

regarding the superloop cancellation, it is free of charge for the first month of billing cycle using the above coupon code.

I have signed up with the code by phone last month.
just cancelled the superloop by phone, about 10 minutes wait and very easy to cancel (not really any question asked)
As I am still in the first month from NBN activation date, no fees or charges for the service.

The service will still remain active until the end of the billing month (even if you cancel earlier) according to the chat.

Pretty good with superloop experience overall, only reason to cancel is that optus gave me a better deal when I called to cancel…

Just churned from Aussie. Friendly call to confirm my transfer date. Service transferred within an hour or two (few minutes downtime). Faster pings. Full speed always. Highly recommend.

looks like superloop has started a referral program. any mates here to refer me? am thinking of trying them out later this month. cheers..

ozbargain referral link for superloop is now active.

took 15 mins from signup to churn from Aussie HFC and be up and running, had to release the ip address on the router and all working. speed tests all similar to aussie and actually noticed a stan feed doesnt buffer it just launched. happy so far and saving $s for similar quality network is a ok by me.

hey mate, were you able to activate on a sunday? whats the router you are on.

      • yep it switched over automatically. router is an archer d7

  • Signed up today speeds aren't amazing https://www.speedtest.net/result/8577561697

    • I presume you're on 100/40 plan?
Which NBN tech have you got?

      • I am on FTTN get max sync of 107/44 I am on 100/40 was CVC related as the graph was nearly maxed out for that night has been good ever since they upgraded it

      • My line is around 250 metres from the node

Telstra farked up my NBN order since last week. When I contacted them everyday for updates, they just said it's gonna be completed in near time, etc. but nothing happened. When I called their connection team, I was told my order was messed up & was cancelled, but no new order was made so nothing happened/progress until I made the call. Unbelievable! I asked for cancellation and called Superloop.

Order at 2 PM, connection activated at 5pm. 3 hours total. All done & happy. Crappy Telstra with a BS service!

  • +1

Almost through my free month, but I cancelled today (fastest ever cancellation over the phone may I add so props to Superloop).

I found that my speeds/pings weren't as consistent as ABB and looking at the CVC graph on my account, my area was always 90-100% during peak so that might explain.

  • thanks OP, signed up today for an activation on 1st Oct at our new address. quick and easy over call with the first month free applied and confirmed existing modem/router would do

  • Thank you OP. Signed up today.
