Pretty unhelpful suggesting getting something that costs twice as much and has features many don't need.

      • ok heres a suggestion Dell G3 3579 15" Gaming Laptop i7-8750H, 8GB RAM, 1 tb hdd, GTX 1050Ti. This has better cooling and performance. This laptop often goes on sale for 999.20 on dell ebay when there is a 20% discount. its only a 190 dollars more and comes with warranty. Dont just look at the price but also the specifications. Paying for a core i3 laptop in 2019 for that price is absurd. I wouldnt call it a bargain mate.

  • Wow plus TRS it'll bring the total to $520.

Can claim it for your tax return next year it'll be less than $300.

Yeah but i3 and 220 nits. I would hate this machine.

      • The i3 isnt that bad with dual core + HT and its 2.2 burst to 3.4 - however in this day and age you expect a bit better than an i3 and 120gb ssd for that kind of money.

Touchscreens are a waste of time on laptops and a reason why its only 220 nits.

    • You'd want to tax deduct better technology in 2020… there'll be plenty of sales between now and then… I bought a HP i7 & SSD etc. but the body has cracked in 18 months… never buy one with plastic body…. go for aluminum/metallic…

  • This same model was around $579 last week at JB hifi when they had a flash sale on just for 24hrs I think. No longer valid now, but think although specs are good for price, they are clearing this model out.
