  • That makes the LG 65" 4K UHD LED TV very tempting at $1525…

Arrg, I'll sit on the price for a few hours. Thoughts everyone?

    • The Goodguys Commercial have the LG 65" UM7600 4K UHD SMART LED TV for $1515

If you can get access to that.

65" LG C9 oled comes down to $4245.75 plus a $500 e-gift card (not good guys store credit) so $3745.75. Not Bad!

    • I don't know if it is a good or a bad thing that I feel a bit cash poor at the moment!! haha… This is the TV that I will be buying at some stage this year and that certainly comes down to a decent price.. hopefully it sells out while my brain argues with my heart for a bit longer!!

I cannot justify the upgrade with underwhelming BFI improvements and so little use for eARC and HDMI 2.1 right now. Will need to see some real world tests on the next generation of consoles to see if they can even hit 120 frames at 4K for this to be a significant gaming improvement.

Don't get me wrong, I still want it. And if this is your first time moving into the 4K or OLED world… oh boy! What an experience it is with these amazing televisions.

      • Might be a good idea to get the new panasonic oled’s since they support both hdr10+ and DV. Currently for $3864 at tgg commercial if you have access.

    • 65" is a good size.

I just received a text with a $20 credit as part of their VIP day, per T&C's. Must be used in-store today. Also, spend $500 or more by Sunday, taking delivery in July, receive $60 credit on August 6.

Nice. You must have bought something within the past 12 months & paid for their concierge VIP service. I had the same discounts by SMS for the first 12 months after purchasing my TV from TGG a couple of years back.

      • Can't say I've ever paid for any concierge stuff, but yeah bought a few things though.

    • Me too, what should I buy? Wasn't going to actually buy anything lol

      • i just bought batteries lol

    • Same, it looks like the $20 credit can be used online? I haven't tried it yet but it has a 4 digit pin which makes me think it's doable.
Edit: confirmed, can use it online.

      Bought online a TP-LINK Smart Wi-Fi Plug HS100 for $6.1 after 10% discount and $20 Credit

      • +1

Haha…did exactly the same after not knowing what else to buy!

        • +1

Did the exact same. Bit of a steal at $6.10!
Was either this or yet another Thumb Drive… lol

        • How do you apply 10% as well as the $20 coupon online? Use JULY10 as promo code and apply $20 credit (using pin) when make the payment?

      • What are you gonna use it for? I have the same $20 voucher and I'm stumped, lmao

      • Just came home with it, surprised to see its actually H110 Version, even Better :) Ozbargainers can also buy the Tile Bluetooth tracker if they want

    • +2

Thanks for the heads up! I thought it was just a spam text so ignored it, but then saw your comment and saw I got the free $20 coupon!

I bought some HP Ink Cartridges. There is a promo where if you buy 2 cartridges you get a cashback. The 2 cartridges came to $50, then got the 10% off, used the $20 coupon, and sent off for a $20 cashback, so basically just paid for the $5 delivery.

Got this, not sure why because I’m sure I’m not a concierge member but money is money!

Picked up an electric carving knife for $6.95 after 10% off and $20 discount. Been talking about buying one for a long time and kept forgetting.

  • +1

Even with the 10%, the espresso machines aren't a great deal :(
I'm so keen for someone to do a good discount and I'm jumping on it.

    • They still have the cranberry BES870 listed at $599 so you can get it for $539.10 which while not as cheap as last month’s once in a blue moon price at Amazon and eBay, it’s still cheaper than the normal sale price of $559 when TGG/Bing Lee do their 20% off eBay sales.

  • Does the Shop-back still apply? LG Fridge looking tempting.

  • +1

Why don't just wait for 20% TGG ebay sale?

  • +2

Fake sale! They've bumped everything up in price

    • +2

Yep :/ was hoping to get the GoPro but it's bumped from $499 to $579. Boo-urns

  • I just got the g7 for $285. They knocked 10% off and then a bit more. I have been hanging out for a deal on it.

  • Anything good to spend my $20 Concierge credit on? :P

  • +1

Their website has slowed down to a crawl.

The dishwasher I am getting on my build is $120 cheaper through this deal than my builder, who is already the cheapest.

But I'd have to pick it up and deliver to the house when required. Plus their insurance doesn't cover it then. I would at least get extended warranty on my credit card.

Anyone else built a house and find that buying your own dishes isn't worth the savings/risk/hassle?

    • It is worth buying your own. Determine type whether freestanding, integrated etc.

Go and plug it in yourself. Super easy. They mostly all take cold water and have a heating element.

      • Sorry, I know exactly what I want. And they need to make the front since it's fully integrated.

        • You can buy from store for click and collect.choose a store closest to you. The store will call you and you can add delivery.. you will still get your standard manufacturer warranty if your builder is licensed. Are you referring the builders warranty?

          • @mefresh: I meant extended warranty from my credit card, and builders insurance should it be damaged or stolen.

            • @kulprit: Builders insurance for damage or theft will only cover during the time the house is being built though?
They wouldn't be installing the dishwasher prior to doors and locks?
Warranty from manufacturer and your credit card won't cover damage/theft? And if your cc had lost item protection for 90 days, i would think you would struggle to claim you lost your dish washer..
Are they not 2 different things you are trying to compare?
Or are you wanting to get both the benefits somehow?

  • Can anyone advise whether they still price match?
    Cheers.

  • Microsoft Surface Pen comes down to $116 if anyone is looking to pick one up.

  • Interesting… i went in store today and got the fisher and paykel WH7560P2 for 777 with another 10% off + used the 20 voucher from the concierge/vip sms service. brought it down to 679.20 online its $899

might be worthwhile going in stores to haggle a bit more
