    I have the SHD8900. Sound good but not as comfy or secure as equivalent Sennheisers.

    Recently the sound started breaking up at random intervals, which was initially puzzling as they'd been working fine for over a year and the batteries were good. Then I remembered I'd just moved the wireless router from the middle to the front of the house, nearer to the headphones (though still about 10M apart in separate rooms). As well as having set up a new computer near the router, with a 2.4GHz Logitech mouse.

    So if you're in "noisy" area as far as WiFi goes, these or any other wireless headphones operating on 2.4GHz might be best avoided.

  • You would be much much happier with these for $129 plus shipping;

    This is by far the cheapest non-Ebay price for these. Be wary when searching for these online, because a lot of people will sell you just the headphones with no base station for not much less than this.

    I bought 2 pairs from this shop and use one downstairs and one upstairs, but you can tune them into the same channel if you want to use both pairs for the upstairs to watch the same show together. It's been really great to help us enjoy TV and not wake the kids. I can walk all through the house and up the yard and down to the road and still listen. They don't interfere with my 802.11n wifi, or get any interference from it. They do hiss when they auto shut off after 3 minutes of silence, but I read that the auto shut off is mandatory in Europe so you can't disable it - it's really a very minor thing.

    Or you can get them on Ebay for a little cheaper (this search has -extra to weed out the ones without the charger). As of this posting there was a new and near new pair for less than the set at the shop above.

  • I have the PHILIPS Digital wireless Headphones SHD860 and am very happy with them. Do head in store to find the ones that are most comfortable for your head and to check that they work without interference. I tried both Philips and Sennheisers and bought the Philips online.
