  • This deal looks weak compared to SMSGlobal where they've been giving up 100~200 free SMS's for each user.

Also what is this group thing? You have to refer 5 people into the service in order to get 5 free messages per day?

if you are organising a social event, placing your staff in different categories or organising a school assignment study session, creating a group through gText is important. It’s also important to make sure you information is sent to the correct people in an efficient and timely manner and you will be targeting the correct people, providing them with the correct information and best of all everyone in your group can engage in a group conversation with one another all on a mobile phone. You can see what everyone has been talking about and information will never be misunderstood or lost again.

        Doesn't answer anything..

        • if you are organising a social event for 5 ppl that you can finalise in 5 sms, gText is important.

        • Its much easier to convince people to use mobile Facebook or Foursquare. I think I'll pass on this. Its useful but not easy to get friends to sign up to it.

  • SMS global is way better. gives you 225 free sms when you sign up!

    • gtext supports group sms and reply-all feature ..

      • smspup.com supports group sms and has an established business model so won't disappear

@SakuraChan : This is a false report :) ..dont bluff

225 free sms messages to new australian users. the gtext deal is pretty mediocre in comparison to this.

pretty sure this guys a rep… all his posts are gtext in the past 3 months.

    • Certainly looks like it. Look at the long reply to the first comment (about SMS Global). So long, persuasive.. and "main reasons why WE are bringing you gText".

By the way, SMS Global is better.

      • i use yakedi and smsfun. always free smses everyday. what are the pros of smsglobal compared to this?

  • +1

I can copy and paste on my phone. That's good enough for me!

for those with android/ios, whatsapp and the like renders this useless.

  • I like the gText concept, its sort of useful for a group people who want to chat….
Send one message to a group number -> gtext will be sending the message to all the group members… if a member replies, it goes to all the groups..group members can only view the messages…

Login and get a 25 free credits in gtext … SMS global also gives 25 credits while signup..But SMS global is not a group texting concept i guess… if am not wrong…

    • 225 sms credits*
