Bought some from the actual shop in Byron Bay earlier in the year, man I got ripped off!!

    • Lol

    • +5

Yeah I prefer the ones you can get from a town just out of Byron.

      • The byron bay cookie factory store always has good specials, just out of town a bit.

Nice! Thanks OP. I miss the large Dotty they used to sell, can only get those at Zarraffas now.

    • +1

Thanks. You still can find those large Dotty in some cafes but they are not cheap. Woolies has the bite size dotty, they are nice too

    • Bunnings have them $3

      • +1

Bunnings never cease to amaze. First Google Homes, now BB Dotty cookies. What next…?

Just on the subject of cookies, the best and I mean best cookies I've ever come across are those made by Gold Coast company Redzed. The Macadamia & White Chocolate are superb!

    • Never tried this, but I kinda like subway ones. How do they compare?

      • +2

Subway cookies are shit compared to Redzed (and Byron Bay as well).

        • +2

          mmmmmmmmmmm… shit

I like them but did not realise that they made of Vegetables oil rather than butter. The good quality biscuits are made of butter.not buying them anymore. I think the ones you bought in the actual shop might be made of butter some of their cookies, I noticed but not these ones.

Check the ingredients list, the parenthesis mean vegetable oil for the choc chip, butter for the cookie.

Ahhh I want to go back to Keto but cookies!!

    • +2

Just do Keto next week after the sales.. 6 days won't make much of a difference anyway

    • Try being on keto and working there and getting asked to test new flavours!

    • Just have half a cookies once a week lol. I brought them for my Birthday tomorrow (better than cake). Just got to resist eating the packet lol

  • Has anyone seen if the gluten free ones are half price too? They're normally $3. Soooo good!

  • +1

The little cookie bites, are delicious and much larger than what the pictures on pack led me to believe. Each cookie bite is actually a decent size small cookie. I had to stop myself from eating a pack, then driving to servo for another packet, when they were half price at Coles servo.

They’re so addictive! Getting through the pack of 8/9 is way too easy…

  • Anyone got recipes for these? Thanks…

  • These biscuits belong in that vanity article with all the other Byron fakers

    • Why?

      • They're not made in Byron anymore, the company was sold years ago

        • They're 100% still made in Byron Bay.

          • @bluebear_74: Whoops I guess when they were bought in 2013 I figured they wouldn't keep the industrial estate factory open. Looks like their European cookies are baked over there though.

            • @King Steuart: They are definitely still made in Byron Bay! You can visit the store just near the factory or there is a store in the heart of BB. Support Aussie companies!!!

  • Used to get these from the minibar at the hotel every day but the big cookies. $5 a pop. Made sure to use my work's $15 minibar allowance each day 😋. Chocolate were my favourite

Byron Bay Cookies are Australian owned and made! They are owned by a family who wanted Byron Bay Cookies to remain being made in Byron Bay when previous owner sold the company. They wanted to keep the local people employed. Not only are they Australian made, they company support lots of charities and the cookies taste fantastic!!

      And then made them Halal

      • So!!!
