  • Nice one, been really happy with PD charging with the iPhone with previous deal.

Is there an associated special on PD chargers too?

    •

As much as I'd love to unfortunately Geek don't stock any AU chargers with USB-PD.

  • I can't seem to find the MFI certification on apple's website? I am keen to get this deal though.

Apple don't update their MFI certification list the moment something becomes certified. Rather they do it bulk a few times a year so it's not there yet, but will be soon.

  • Hopefully. It’s still there tomorrow morning.
    I do want one !

  • Purchased, thanks. Finally something cheap enough to get fast charging on the iPhone 8 plus

  • $23 for me after code?

    •

Have you added multiple to the cart? When I apply the code I get:

      Order Subtotal : US$ 15.99
      Shipping Cost : US$ 0.00
      Coupon Amount : -US$ 8.00
      Grand Total : US$ 7.99

    • Jumped on computer. All sorted

  • Just curious what the difference is between these cables and the cheap 5$ type c to lightning cables on ebay.

    • +2 votes

Those $5 cables are normally shorter at 1m, aren't braided so they're more prone to breakage with some people finding unbranded cables as bad quality.

      • Like in general do those cables do pd also or do you need the specific cables for fast charging? Thanks again!

        • +1 vote

USB-C to Lightning should do fast charging if the manufacturer has followed the specifications. The risk with generic unbranded cables is that they haven't followed the specifications and might not do what they advertise.

This cable for example has been tested successfully with Apple's 29W, 30W, 61W, and 87W USB-C power adapters.

need a shorter MFI cable to be used with power bank

  • Thanks! Got one. Paid the extra $3 for faster shipping - still a good deal.

  • Do you have any deals on USB to lightning cables?

  • Grabbed a couple, thanks OP!

  • Does this work on p30 pro or only on apples?

  • I received mine from Geek via shipping from Australian warehouse. Was able to charge iPad and iPhone X with fast charge no issue at all. Should have waited instead of paying 45 for the Apple version.

    Thanks Op great deal

  • SO just got this cable - really nice cable!! Will it fast charge my iphone 8 with any pd charger? i.e. google pixel 2 charger, car charger with pd etc.?

  • @OP - will this code work for other cables? Interested in usb-c to usb-c and usb to usb-c

  • Great cable! Have used it for the past 2 weeks with no issues at all. Fast charges the iPhone 8 plus nicely. Great quality cable too with the braided cord etc. Thanks again!
