@AussieMark: Yes, it is true. I am a farmer. My cucumbers sell to agent normally $8 a bag of 15 cucumbers. While you go to Woolworth or Cole it is $1 to $2 each. Sometime we have to sell it $1 to $2 a bag of 15 customers while in supermarkets till $1 each. That how businesses strong and long live while our farmers some leave the farm some owed the banks. Just few farmers luckily sell better price when demand > suplly. Even we pay premium price we couldn't get premium vegetables. All premiums are export, this is so funny and weird.

basically i asked out girl from JB Hifi… to get the discount.
We dated for 6 months and we planted some vegies in the garden together. I sold the vegies for $10 over time and also got $10 discount at JB Hifi from the girlfriend.
so $10 for vegies + $10 for discount = $20 made money
it only cost me 6 months of dating and 23 dinners

Anyone that has signed up for one of these 12 month JB plans and then migrated to a month to month plan with Telstra?
Next question, have you managed to port out without having to pay for your discounted mobile, tv or whatever the deal was?
Not expired, deal is still on in the new catelogue until 4/9/19.

When you signed up, did JB pass on details of your handset (e.g. imei) to Telstra?

Ah right… I wonder if this affects the chance of getting ETC waived?
The JB employee who helped me signed up with this plan didn't put imei of the handset. If they did, probably will make switching to m2m more difficult or even impossible without paying ETC.
Some JB employees already aware of people abusing this deal(some of them are Ozbargainers as well), so sometimes they put a note to Telstra like "Free gift" in hoping they couldn't get out of the contract without paying ETC.
so i rang jb [in perth] and they said this runs until the weekend [she didnt know if sunday COB or not] so im thinking of popping in to grab one but whats the deal with swapping the P30 with another phone?
The jb hifi lady said now swapsies only P30 phone is in the deal
im not too interested in the termination of the contract as ill likely use it for 12 months but just want a different phone
