First post so criticism welcome.

The deal is back with what I suspect is targeted reward vs spend amounts.

I have 2,500 points one waiting too so will be doubling up on my first shop.

  • I frequently spend $500 buying prepaid VISA gift cards, and my offer is now ridiculous - spend $280 each week for 4 weeks. Stupid because gift card spend doesn't contribute.

        Paying for bills that would otherwise not earn points or contribute to minimum spend cc deals (council rates, ATO bills, etc).

    • Why not just skip the flybuys card when you're buying the gift cards then?

      (And thanks for the tip, I never thought of paying the ATO with VISA gift cards…)

      • I thought VISA gift cards have a $5.50 activation fee. Saw it in Woolies on the VISA gift card.

          Sometimes Colesworth offers 2000 points ($10) for $100 purchase so even after accounting for the fee it's worth it.

    If we used other people's receipts can we get there points? Asking for a friend

  • Does this offer stack with other flybuy offers? I also activated a spend $40 get 500 points last week and now the 10,000 point offer doesnt appear anymore.

      It stacks. My 4 week offer isn’t anywhere in my offers anymore even though I’m up to week 2.

      I stack offers but still get the 10k points

      The best stacks is when you get your shop count towards the 10k, get another 1-2k from email offer and get another 1k from a the weekly voucher offers they post to you quarterly.

    My colleague decided not to activate her 4x $110 spend for 10k points and now she gets a $170 spend for 2500 pts. Does Coles think she's dumb or something?

    I told her to check her profile and change it back to a single household to see if that helps.

  • My activated offers kept disappearing. Gave up.

    • I think this is common and has happened to me. I take a 'Print screen' and copy to a draft email. Then do my shop. Check after first week if the docket says congratulations if not call them to find out the issue. Customer service is in Australia and quite helpful. I have done many of these and only once had a problem where after 2 weeks of congratulations appearing on the docket they stopped. I completed the 4 shops but did not get the points. I called them and it was fixed without issues in 1 week and the person said he could not understand what happened. the most common issue seems to be that people are told they did not activate the offer so follow my advice above.

        I noticed that my first two weeks were shown on the receipts. The third did not show. The girl at the front desk said that those offers don't typically show on receipts which is BS as all of mine have always shown on receipts… she was just being lazy.

        I still get emails RE the 4 week spend so I'm hoping that this was just a once off and the last spend will be competed next week. Else I will be following your lead.

  • Yeah, the 4x weekly spend offer didn't register during week 3. Called up Flybuys who were good about the issue and asked that I send through the week 3 receipt for checking. I decided to send them all 4 week's receipts anyway to prove that I had shopped at the same Coles (no Express stores) for all 4 weeks and that the first two had registered.

    Week 3 definitely was buggy. It didn't show my points balance after where is notes my card number.

    If anyone is having issues too, supply scans of the receipts to: [email protected] and be sure to note your flybuys card number in the subject.

    • Interesting as my problem also started in week 3. I was not asked to send receipts as my purchases were recorded when I logged in on my Flybuys account. But yes always keep receipts and screen shots showing you activated the offer.
