No need to pay those prices. Got 2 x brand new 64GB for $700 & $750 over 6 months ago now and they still work lol. Gumtree where cash is king :)

Agreed, I've been burnt before. Bought a brand new Samsung S7 sealed in box. The guy reported it stolen 3 days after my purchase. Luckily the same thing happened to a friend of my mates in NZ. We just swapped the motherboard and all was well. Just can't use either of our phones in one anothers country tho. From now on buying new or from a legit seller is the only option.

What a world to live in, 1k is considered good price for 'latest' gen iPhone right before the new ones come out .
A 'latest' gen phone with one camera and almost 720p non-amoled screen.
Kudos to Apple for managing to milk the consumers and they be happy about it.

You see, people buy iPhone for the software experience, the "everything just works" experience, not the super Dynamic Quad-HD OLED screen or 12GB of RAM,etc.
Yes even a 2 year old android flagship are fast and responsive enough these days, but they never feel as smooth as the latest Apple devices, Apps tends to be better coded on iOS as well (even Google Apps), and before you calling me an iSheep or something like that, let me be clear, I have never used an Apple handset as a daily driver and I have sticked to my Pixel 2 for almost 2 years.Apple is inferior in many ways.
the only reason you think they offer an 'it all just works' experience is because you bought a pixel, those are beta devices for android 'enthusiasts'
I've bought phones from many companies, last year im with an oneplus 6t and the experience is fantastic.

I just switched to S10E after 10 years of iOS
1k for base model XR is an insult to iOS users.Android has come a long way it's 90% there at half the cost.
battery life on iphone xr too good compared to any android iphone.
I understand the battery life on XR is exceptional
but compare the rest of the phone to S10E and should I mention the price?
