  • Anything with full HD resolution (better than 1366 * 768) on a 15" or smaller screen?

    • According to pdf 1, they have this asus for $1799.

Not many machines on the first page is really a bargain… (perhaps maybe the DM3 but then again it's already 3 generations old :( ).

However the 2nd link : http://www.mln.com.au/img/pdf/EOFY_Sale_Page_2.pdf in particular the Asus X52F
is a pretty good bargain (i3 with 4GB DDR3 + 640GB hard drive + HDMI Output + DVD Burner = Nice HTPC setup). A positive vote from for this notebook alone.

Beware the RRP's are far higher than their usual MLN prices. Toshiba t130 was $597 for a long time, now it's $10 cheaper and they use the redundant RRP to exaggerate savings.

  • Agreed with the second link, the Asus X52F for $444 . . great price.Positive vote for that.

The x52ju also a good price at $549- paid an extra $40 a fortnight ago… lol.

    • It is one of those Asus models that has only 1 year warranty.

      Could you please elaborate?

      • he never does. he just spends his time trolling every MLN thread these days

Looking at the history of his post, it looks like he was waiting for a cheque.

Guys if you are entitled to a refund you will get it by cheque and you will have to wait, it's the unfortunate reality.
In relation to RRPs we don't make them up manufacturers do. They are not set by us most of what we normally sell is below RRP all the time.

    • Can you answer my query about any full HD models?

The only one I can see is Asus N53SV-FHD-SZ498V which is $1563 ($1399 at CentreCom). Any offers on this or similar please?

      Thanks.

  • Gadgetguy not sure if we have stock will have to get back to you but I know we can do better than $1399, will look for some HD+ screens as well, if you want better pricing it's best to contact a store. Online offers are regulated differently and we can't setup special pricing for one deal. For specific specials you need to visit a store and speak to a salesperson

    • Any update on this? I am interested in the same model (possibly 2) if you are able to beat centrecoms price.
I'm interstate at the moment, so can't pop into the store.

Anyway to email you at all? Cheers!
