Can you please clarify what the $325 buys?

Includes transport from Pokhara? All meals and accommodation while on the trek? Baggage porter?

It buys scams. Check out the rep posting history. Nothing but a cluster fk of scams and sarcasm.

      • If truth is a scam i have nothing to clarify.

Please visit our website, look at our legal documents, visit our Facebook and Instagram look our authenticity. Talking about myself i was a trekking guide for more than 11 years. And for your information i have guided many Australian people and read reviews on trip adviser and on my website from those nice Aussie people.

We going to get a new deal posted every day from now?

    USD250 is AUD370 not AUD325

    • If you are looking for poonhill trekking in Nepal this is the cheapest you can get.

    • Why are you guys negative to this level ?

I am offering on AUS $325 (and this is according to Nepali local market's exchange rate). If you are getting in cheaper (just AUS$45) why are you offending.

If your conversion makes $370, i STILL CAN OFFER IN $325.

    • +1

      USD250 is AUD370 not AUD325

The deal hasn't started. Perhaps the (USD) price will be updated on the deal page to reflect the lower price?

      • Hello Alvian,

What do you mean by the deal hasn't started. Can you help me with this??

Regarding the price USD will look smaller but as it is a Australian site, AUS dollar might be a good currency. Easy to view the deal.

        • +1

What do you mean by the deal hasn't started

I am going by the deal start date of 31 August 2019 (and an end date of 31 December 2019). You put it there when you wrote the post. See the blue IN X DAYS in front of the deal title? It is counting down to 31 August.

Regarding currencies, in which denomination do you want to charge your customers, Australian Dollars or US Dollars? If you want to charge $325 Australian Dollars, then the current title is OK. If you want to charge $250 US dollars, then you should Google 250 usd to aud (returning AU $370) and make the title "Poonhill Trekking in Nepal - US $250 (~AU $370) @ Nepalgram". It is covered here.

A better title would be "3-Day Poonhill Trekking in Nepal - US $250 (~AU $370, Was US $400) @ Nepalgram".

          • @alvian: Thank you.

            • @Arun Karki: If the deal start date is wrong, then please edit the deal and change the start date. If you put in a start date by mistake and want the deal to start immediately, then please edit the deal and delete the start date.

              • @alvian: I changed the date of today in the deal. Do i change the date or keep blank?

I want ti start the deal immediately.

                • +1

@Arun Karki: A date in the past, or today, or blank in the start date will start the deal immediately. You can see the blue "in 4 days" is gone now.

I paid $300 usd last time for poon hill including transport, food, etc…just go there and ask for a deal. Its much cheaper

    • I am offering you Australian Dollor $325

      • USD250 is AUD370 not AUD325 and does not include transport and food.

        • Hello Eyzonme

It includes both food and transport.

          Inclusion:
1-Transportation to the trekking start point and transport at the end of the trek to Pokhara
2- Food while trekking, that means breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
3- Entry fee, TIMS and Trekking permit
          4- A guide
          5- A porter
6- All accommodation during the trek

    • Based on that this seems like a deal. This deal is AU$325 vs your "discounted" fee of US$300. Not that I'm going to Nepal, but I'd prefer to pay AU$325 over US$300 anyway (based on current exchange rates anyway). No idea if this is a scam or not, but based on face value it seems ok?

      • It seems good to me…..transport and food are so cheap there. Make sure they include tea house + food on the way to poonhill and returning

        • Yes Zombielover,

Both tea house accommodation and food on the way to poonhill and returning are included.

      • It is not a scam or nothing like that.

Let me make you clear on what happend.

I was posting a deal for Manaslu circuit trekking and that was very first deal submission.I don't know why but everyone started talking negative about the deal. I was posting for the first time and there were some rule violation like i ticked on freebie, i posted price on USD which i was supposed to post on AUS Dollor.

I am feeling strange about all these scam you guys are talking about.

Before your criticism on anything, i suggest those gentle man to check the site, visit home and click on about us page under home for legal documents.

        Thank you

This forum is the wrong place for you to post your offers.
Especially since you're posting so frequently and people do not see value in what you offer.
Your last post had ZERO positive votes.
Please try another site and stop posting here.

    • +3

      Hello Payton,

You are right i need to stop posting offers everyday.
BUT this forum might not be just for small amount deals right ?? Deals are always deals if it is a million or a cent.

Yes there are no voting but there are more than 70 clicks on the link. This means people are interested in the deal. They might not want to buy it straight away but when they plan to visit Nepal they will.

Planning holiday is not like buying a take away coffee right ?? or grabbing a bread and run to work.

I am offering the cheap price, if it is not useful for you just ignore. But please keep respect on those people who are clicking on the site or to those who are interested to purchase it.

      Hope I clarify your concern

      • +6

Mate, I don't think you are understanding what people are trying to say.
        1. Your deals are not deals, they are your face value offers.
        2. They not saying its a scam in a fishy way, its a scam more like a spam.
        3. Clicks, because they want to know what really it is. You got pricing mix ups, legitimacy of your offer, and really trying to understand if its a DEAL and not just another business spam.

ozbargain is a platform to post deals that really values the consumer. Reading through your comments, you are pushing to promote your website and appears to be advertising your services/offers than posting an actual deal.

If you are unsure what DEAL means, have a look at the homepage/highlighted deals. You will understand what I mean.

          Hello NZ,

          Information are appreciated.

      • This kind of info should have been included in the descriptions of your deals from the beginning.

        • I see that.. I will edit it quickly.

        • +1

@alvian i can not edit now. If i edit it i need to submit again. I am afraid to submit the deal again. As i already exploit the rule by posting deal in 2 consecutive day.

From next post i will keep this in mind.

          Thank you so much mate.

          • +2

@Arun Karki: Of course you can edit the deal and put in the info. I've been editing your deals since the first unpublished one. Press edit, add the info, press Preview to check, and press Submit to finalise the edit.

            • @alvian: Thank you so much Alvian.

              • @Arun Karki: Hello Alvian,
Thank you for the help so far,but looking at my profile it says my website is banned from ozbargain. It says i have more comments than likes. How to solve this issue.

                TIA

People have really given you a hard time on these posts without appreciating it's a niche interest and that English clearly isn't your first language, so will have some comprehension differences. Appreciate you are trying and learning from it, keep it up and good luck. Will consider for future.

      Hello Hybroid,

      Appreciate your comment.

I don't mind about what people are saying. I need to learn and this is how we learn.

      I am optimistic.

  • I did the poon hill sunrise trek as part of the Anapurna circuit back in 2005.
Poon Hill was overcrowded with tourists back then making it unpleasant. I can only imagine what it's like now.
It definitly wasn't the highlight of my trek.

    • Hello Axlton,

It is nice to hear that you have been to Nepal. If you make good timing to get to the top of the poonhill crowd can be deceived to some extent.

If you ask my personal experience as a guide, it is still crowded but for those clients who want to stay in a peaceful environment i take them to the next hilltop. If you remember a hilltop right next to Poonhill that is where i take my clients to skip the crowd. There is a proper trial to go to this next hill top and now there is a new trekking trail called Mohare danda.

I am going Mohare danda trek on coming month.

For your ending line, it is definitely not a major attraction for those who are doing Annapurna base camp trek or ghorepani ghandruk trek. In case of Poonhill trek, this is a best spot for the mountain view, this is what i mean.

      Thank you.

Seems like a lot for three days assisted trekking. Just to break this down, cause I have done this hike, hut stays are about $10 a night and food is about $3-5 a meal. If tips are also on top of this then the money basically just goes towards tour company.

    • Hello Uberlscool,

Did you calculate the cost of permit, porter, Tims, transportation to and from the trekking ??

And as an operator we keep profit but this price Aus $325 is with very small amount of profit. Nepalgram started its service from 2018 so we are offering good value for all the package.

For your information we customize the trip as well.

      Thank you for your comments.

      • +1

Porter is paid by gratuity. Transport $40, permit and Tim’s $50
