Give this man a cigar! I did a dummy order and can confirm that $11.80 discount (20% of $59) gets applied at checkout.

      • how to do that …?

        • Add an echo device to your order! Like an echo dot.

          • @PvsNP: how to do dummy order ..

            • +1

@MotorHead: Just add all the items in cart and checkout to see the discount.
Essentially, you're not committing to buy.

              • @PvsNP: i did that but how to remove echo device ..its telling me checkout both iteams

                • @MotorHead: I don't think you can do that, can you? :S

                  • @PvsNP: look at the previous comment on the top he is saying he did dummy order to get 20%

                    • +2

@MotorHead: No I think he said he did a dummy order to confirm he can get 20% discount, not that he actually got 20% off without ordering an echo device.

Thanks. Cancelled my 4 kits and reordered with echo dot. I love ozbargain!

Officeworks price beat… $56.05. Box Hill South in Victoria.

One more on the shelf, assume more out the back.

    Thanks OP!

  • I almost bought this before I realised it was an Edison screw. Are there any deals for this with a bayonnet please?

I signed up for cashrewards as well, finally worked out how to do it.

EDIT: Just realised you can buy Edison screw to bayonet adapters.

    • +1

just note that the adapters do add a bit of heigh, maybe 3-4cm

        Thank you.

Just picked up from Bunnings Caringbah for $53.10 - took a bit of arguing. They insisted $71 was the lowest they could go (price match plus shipping) as Amazon has a shipping cost. Fools haha.

    • Is it better to buy from Amazon with the 12% Cashback? Sorry can’t confirm if it is 12%

      • Possibly? I couldn't find confirmation it was 12% so I took the 10% off from Bunnings. Pretty happy.

  • How are these for 'mood' lighting? I have two lamps in my living room and no matter which bulb I buy, they are ghastly bright and definitely not relaxing after a long day.

    • +1

      Dim them then

      • "Alexa, lounge lamps twenty percent"

or, create your own scene: "Alexa, lounge lamps sexytime"

    • They're great, these ones are really good for mood lighting at the warmest setting, and then you can dim them down quite a bit too. The normal Hue warm whites aren't so great for mood lighting, so I'd snap these up while they're (really) cheap.

        You sold me. Purchased. Thanks!

Not exactly the right forum but I bought a few Brilliant smart down lights. Do I need internet to set these up or is a wireless network ok? Just moved into a new place where there's no internet yet.

  • Dammit! I just received mine yesterday. Amazon refuses to give ,e a refund on the difference. Prime member here.

    • Ahh damn, might be better to just re-order a new one under this promo and return the other one? Might be a bit of a shipping cost associated but works out cheaper?

    • And that’s how Jeff makes his cashola!

      • So I've got a resolution on this, although it doesn't make sense to me - maybe someone can expalin to me why they do it this way.

Instead of giving me a straight refund of the difference, Amazon has sent me a return mailing label. They want me to return the box that I received AND OPENED yesterday for a full refund, and then to buy another one from this lightning deal.

        Weird, if you ask me.

  • If only colour… I 😔

  • What's the battery in these adore lights for?

    • +1

The dimmer. The light fittings are 240v hard wired.

  • When price matching off officeworks, was anyone successful with price matching the white ambience one? I went to my local one and they only were willing to pricematch the white version

  • Can confirm, price match at Bunnings for $53.10

  • What is included in that starter kit ?

    • 2 bulbs, the hub and a switch

      • -1

Thanks, that's what I thought until I scroll down the page and saw "Switch included = No"
        Why neg my previous comment?

  • for those expert out there .. so if i buy this set.. can i get other philips multicolor lights to work with it ? i noticed some of my lamps are on e27 instead of the bulb given here

    • Yes, that's the whole point. Once you have the hub, you can add lights and switches and sensors.

    • They must be Philips HUE lights

    • The bulbs here are E27 (Eddison screw)

  • I believe shopback is now 12.5% cashback on these.

  • If you already own the hub, or want normal fitting bulbs rather than screw mount, then this is not a great kit to get.

    • apparently a lot of people sell off the hub

    10% price beat at Bunnings Kent Town. Here's the receipt;
    https://pasteboard.co/IuIwjcB.jpg

    • Hey can you send me a message about your hub? I can't seem to message you

  • Looks like you can’t even back order now?

    • yeah no luck for me either :(

  • Order shipped… Thanks OP

  • +4

as per cashrewards email , cashback is ony 0.75 $

    • bummer, thanks for the heads up

    • Lol. Shouldn't it be 12%.

    • Yeah what the hell? that is an error right? otherwise i would have gone to Bunnings!

    • Same here…..

    • all good now , cashback adjusted, thanks TA

  • Hi, is anyone get 12% cashback from cr? I only tracked for less $1 cash back…

  • +7

Guys, looking into this now. I'll report back when I have more info. Thanks.

    • Please do. I am also seeing $0.75 cashback.

      • +3

Don't worry, it will be fixed. Will report back.

        • Also seeing $0.75 on my end, let us know how it goes TA! :)

        • +7

Guys, confirmation all transactions are now fixed. Please check your Cashrewards accounts. Apologies, and thanks!

    • Mine didn't even track, how do I follow this up?

    • Mine didn't track at all. Did everything right on CR but no email. I guess I'll be sending a claim when the 7 days are up. I even clicked on it twice to make sure and my click history shows both clicks. Ahh well.

      • -1

2 of mine were paid with GC and according to CR, you get cashback when using gift card but they didn't track. So need to follow that up too

  • Totally sold out, even the discounted price has disappeared. Did anyone manage to get a screenshot that can be used to price match / beat at bunnings / officeworks?

    • Still have page open with price at $59, can someone explain how to attach a picture? Never done this before tnx

    • Still have page open with price at $59, can someone explain how to attach a picture? Never done this before tnx
How do I remove the double post?

      • Screenshot it. Upload to Imgur and share the link.

  • +1

    CR registered $6.44 cashback.

  • Can I control both Yeelight and Hue in the same room, at the same time? How about the motion sensor, can I get that working with my current yeelights as well? Hope I dont have to replace all the current bulbs with Hue in order to get a seamless experience. Already have 2x Yeelight colour bulbs and 2x white.

    • You wont be able to use the hue switch with your yeelight if that is what you're asking. Also won't be able to pair your yeelight with the hue hub since yeelight is wifi.

    • Yeah you'll need a smart hub to do something like that such as Smart Things, Home Assistant or Hubitat.

  • damn missed out :(

  • Anyone selling their spares?

  • Just got an email saying the expected delivery had changed from 23/09/19 to 09/09/19.

  • Anyone else get their set with a US Style power adapter? Is this expected?

    • I'll have to check. No it should be though, contact Amazon.

    • I got an aussie power adapter in mine.

    • They ended up sending me a US to AU adapter which I guess is reasonable…
