Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Gaming Mouse $74.25 C&C/ + Delivery @ JB Hi-Fi

330

May not be the best deal ever but still a very good price for a solid mouse. Note that this is the newer version using their HERO sensor.

    • I did the opposite thing as I wanted a wireless one. Now I’m missing the g502 :(

    'solid mouse'

This isn't just a solid mouse, it's a damn near perfect mouse. I waited many years for Logitech to release a mouse with the modern features I needed, using other brands in the meantime which ended up being unreliable. I've loved this one since the moment I got it and hope it lasts as long as my original G5 which at 12 years old still works like new as a backup for building PC's for others.

Perfect mouse? It's absolute shit if you have small hands and/or want a lightweight mouse for FPS games..

That being said I do own one and enjoy it. The big heavy lump of plastic was very ergonomic for my size hands and my lazy web browsing nature. Swapped it out for g703 however simply for the joy of being wireless.

      • Most mice are not great if you have small hands. Also I play CS:GO with it with no issues, I mean some people might not be able to play FPS with certain mice, but that's on them really.

  • Great mouse! Had mine 4 years now and use it hard every day and its still perfect.

  • I bought my second one recently, as the first kept double clicking.

  • $74 still hurts considering I got the original G502 years ago for $60. I would get it as a backup since the rubber is wearing off my current G502 but after seeing RocketJumpNinja praise the newer lighter mice from Logitech, I may as well wait and hope that both the price of the new Logitech mice drop to reasonable levels and the AUD stops tanking.

    • Got mine for $49 Delivered on the 29/08/2015

Got one, little disappointed. Scroll wheel is not very grippy and mouse overall has a low quality feel. Not a premium product like my logitech mx mouse, which admittedly cost more.

I bought the 502 to replace a previous logitech mouse and almost went back.

It is ok if you get a bargain.

Yea I got my 502 for $59 at harveys about 3 years ago. I wouldn't pay more for it, although most mice aren't worth more anyway IMO.

I have this mouse and I don't like it.
The scroll wheel is very heavy/rough to scroll.
I advise people to physically try it out first.

  • is it permanently wired?

Nope, only when you need to use the mouse

Why would anyone buy PC components/peripherals/accessories from JB Hi-Fi? Computer stores will always have them much cheaper!!!
