    Hi,
Can this not be used for the exterior?

    Thanks

    edit:
    I found different variants:

Thanks, I nearly bought just that thinking the others must not be on sale. Grabbed these too.

  • nice…how do I search for all other club member deals?

The SCA buffing cloth is pretty good for $2. Better than those Costco/Aldi microfiber. Don't forget to cashback!

    • CB? Better off buying SCA gift cards and getting 5%.

    • I've not used these SC buffing cloths (I'm pretty fussy with the ones I use on my paint) but I'll grab some at these and see what they are like.

Is the Buffing" writing rough or noticeable? I'd had to leave marks if they were!

TBH I'm a big fan of the Costco cloths and buy them in bulk but generally only use them for non bodywork/paint applications.

The "Buffing" writing is stitched on so it's noticeable. Will it scratch? Not sure, don't plan to try and I always have the writing facing up. The cloth is suitable on paint. Not the best, but it's cheap. I have some as backup for spot detailing. If you're fussy then get some Bowden's Own Big Softie. Made in Korea and they are one of the best microfibre towels I've ever owned.

        • Cheers mate, I'll grab some tomorrow to check out. Of course I'll try and not use the writing side on paint etc. :)

That said I've got a couple of test panels that I use to test new products etc. so I'll deliberately give it a scratch go first!

I've got some of the Bowdens cloths and don't mind them, I'm also a fan of the Concours and Maxshine towels as well.

          • @bassmaniac69: You have a routine that you can share with us please? :)

      • I have used them and think they are pretty good quality to use on paint definitely worth the price for $2

These are nice quality cloths and at this price well worth it, keep in the car for quick glass clean or dust down.
Get some extra and stash them for future gifts, anyone with a car will appreciate them and can be used for home as well. $6 for a set, that's a bargain.

I tried this out and found it left green fibres all over my dash and surfaces which I wiped down with it. Note this was from a while ago so not sure if it was a bad product or something I did wrong, but something to be aware of.

    • +1

Best to give them a wash before you use them, this cuts this problem back significantly.

      • +1

Still leaving fibres after multiple uses and washes so I have given up!

Thanks OP,got 4 packs of the buffing cloths.
