  • Wow. That keyboard looks high-tech. I can't imagine people will spend almost $450 on a set of keyboard + mouse, but it's not bad for ~$100.

    • lol it must have a video card or cpu chip in it hahaha

but 100 bucks ain't bad, i got my crappy logitech for lik $65

  • No I wouldn't pay $450 for it either but at $1OO it's awesome . I'm going to use it when I attach my Lappy to my big LCD TV . The keyboard has a ball thing on it so you don't need to use the mouse at all . Would be great for a web browsing on a HTPC , what it's designed for I guess .

  • I bought this 12 months ago at 120 dollars same deal as above.

The keyboard is o k. It has quite a few little issues that make it anoying to use at times.

  • My brother has this keyboard, it's good. There's this little charging dock thingo at the top of the keyboard too, for the charging of wireless mouse.

  • Wow! Seems to be a great offer! I think to make full use, MS Vista is recommended.
I have a older series, which is quite good actually!( Won it last month at MS Sharepoint Server Conference at Microsoft, North Ryde ;-), besides two MS LiveCam VX7000, which retails for around 109 AUD each (RRP 149)!! Gave one web Cam to my brother, who was very happy!
    The mouse is quite good!
    Cheers,

  • This is good deal coz of current promotion… Paypal/MS/MBC cashback + Flybuys :)

  • Tell me why this $449 keyboard demands such a premium price ???

also where's the numeric pad ??

    • Could be the bluetooth usage?.

HT says 249$, 30% off - how it comes to 100$?.

Edit: Didnt notice OP abt 135$ from MS

      • You need to combine it with the Microsoft cashback offer, as stated by OP. So

          $249 (HT price)
        - $24.9 (PayPal cashback)
        - $135 (MS cashback)
        = $89.10 + P&H

  • This is a fantastic deal - I reckon it has to be a pricing error on HTs website as this product never gets this cheap. I already own one, but I've been trying to find a reason why I need another set, just so I can take advantage of the bargain!

  • The only thing is that the Paypal "discount" is actually a cashback, and it will simply be credited back to your Paypal account. Last time I checked you could only withdraw the funds fee-free if you have $150 or more. It costs $1 otherwise… although since the keyboard is actually $249, not $150, the math still works out… haahaha… am I a real scrooge or what?

    • Huzzah! Just put my order in. Shipping was only $6.52 for me (weird amount), 'coz I'm pretty close by (unfortunately the offer doesn't apply for pickup). Also paid using credit card on Paypal, so will accrue 249 reward points for that, plus also Flybuys!

Hahahaha… value to the max! (To use a daggy expression from the 80's)

    • Ah crap! I forgot the moneybackco… hahahaha… oh well. I wonder whether they would have honoured it anyway.

      • LOL was about to ask you that question since you said "value to the max" :)
        Bad luck mate!
Just a note for someone thinking of stocking for eBay. If you order multiple the shipping fee is discount too. I just test it but didn't buy :)

        • Just keep in mind that there is a limit of 3 claims for the MS cashback…

  • can someone pls tell me how to get the 10% paypal rebate? cant seem to find it???

  • It's automatic if you pay by paypal. They will refund 10% into your PayPal account within 30 days.

BTW - it's all sold out (except in stores)….

    • I got an e-mail saying that the item was in stock and my order was being processed, and then I got another e-mail saying that it's not in stock and it's on back order :-(

      • i placed an order and got an email saying i can expect delivery in 2-3 days. emailed hs and they said they had stock.

        • How many days/months can the keyboard and mouse go for in between recharges?

          • @proudwanderer: I know that the mouse can go for more than a month without charge (I often forget to put mine on charge) but I always re-attach the keyboard to the charger, so have never tested it - but I expect it would be a similar timeframe.

  • mine just arrived. 5 days after ordering including a 3 day weekend. can't complain about that!

  • Mine shipped today.
