      • +1

        Even better!

        • +4

I think you already Unleashed the Power Within then

          • +4

@radissimo: i refer to my morning dump as unleashing the power within…. the whiplash wife gets when she walks into the bathroom is a testiment to the power that was unleashed… wonder if i can do a talk around that, substance of the talks i guess are the same no? lollll

            • @scud70: Swear for a moment I thought you were Scab.

              • @nightelves: hahaha … nope not previledged enough to be Scab

                • @scud70: Yeah he’s still in the Penalty Box till now. Must have been something serious.

                  • @nightelves: oh… well definitely not me then lol sorry my pet peeve are people like this Tony robbings (typo intended) … wonder why no ones ever put two and two together with his last name ….

  • I prefer the GedditGeddit doctrine myself

  • I imagine I wouldn’t be able to sleep for days after seeing this guy. Too intense.

  • +4

I don’t feel motivated to give Tony $565

  • +6

Sign up to my seminar on how to motivate yourself and become a millionaire.

Once I have a million people pay $1 each for membership I will be able to reveal the secret

Baskin Robbins is a better motivator

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Just don't mention Ben and Jerry's

  • +8

    That's a pretty expensive circlejerk.

For this sort of money you could get one on one sessions with a life coach that would actually tailor to your needs/desires/situation, rather than just unleash you with faux Americanised POWEERRRR.

  • How about just loving life as it is?

  • +2

I was wondering about this today as someone at work just attended the one last week in Sydney.
I am curious on whether anyone who pays those insane amount actually achieve anything (and whether they thought it was money well spent).

We probably hear a lot about celebrities, sports team or people who ended up achieving something (good for them) after these events.
However, what about those who got inspired, tried and failed? or those who ended up not doing anything at all (which would be the majority I think).

How else is the speaker going to get rich?

It's one of the oldest tricks in the book, a magic act of sorts. You get rich by telling people how to get rich.

Just go to Rome on the Etihad deal and "unleash the power within" in Rome for half the price.

    • +1

So more like "unleash the pasta within"?

  • Would love to go, but beyond my means. He seems like a great guy.

    • +2

      Sarcasm?

      • No. I genuinely feel he has the presence, demeanor and skills that I would love to learn from to at least get more motivated with life.

  • Turning Super Saiyan takes more than a 4 day course just saying

    • +3

super saiyan is probably reserved for the front row who pay 10k+ … at this price i'd be happy with a kamehameha wave anything less is a fail though.

      • with power prices in NSW, Id be scared to

  • a great experience to put on the top of your resume

  • +2

But what happens after the 4 days? Do you run out of power?

    • +3

Well you would have unleashed it all, so probably.

  • +1

I prefer jv's "Unleash the OzBargain Within"

  • +3

I have attended all his Power seminars but I have yet to learn any further upskilling that I didn't learn at TAFE as an apprentice electrician.

  • +1

Guess he needs to make up income somehow

But honestly, how does someone charge so much only to turn around and sell people 7 steps to financial freedom. Is step 1, don't spend your money on motivational speakers?

    • LOL so "unleash the power" is youthemism for exposing yourself to female staffers.

      ah ok then

  • I know a guy who follows TRob’s seminars like a cult member…and becos he feels so inspired, he now gives his own version of seminars in China. His wife is in the same boat - also attends to all these inspirational seminars. They always ask me to go to one of these to check it out. Thanks, but no thanks.

  • Some people gotta pay for the First Class air ticket as well as the 6-star accommodation…

  • +2

I have been to this event, won a free ticket, and I can honestly say it is a fantastic 4 day event. I met great people, walked on hot coals which was awesome and was inspired to better myself, and I did. Within the next 12mths I lost 30kgs in weight to get to my ideal healthy weight, saved $10K in the bank and paid off all my credit card debts and scored a promotion at work. Could be a coincidence but I had never been able to lose weight or save money and pay off debt before the event. If your on the fence about going, just do it!

    • Glad to hear from someone who's actually gone rather than naysayers.

    • +1

Cut down on your eating, see a free financial counsellor, get some bbq coals. Saved you 1.5k

    • @cu2nite Just wondering if you think that the ticket price is actually worthed if you were to pay for it (rather than getting a freebie)

  • this guy is a con-artist in the flesh and everyone is getting fooled

  • +1

I unleash the power within during my morning urination, after I have broken wind I feel like energized as I have just given this world my best effort. Feeling focused and fulfilled I'm ready to go back to bed for the rest of the day.
