Apple Music $14 Cashback with Free 3-Month Individual Trial @ Cashrewards (iOS & Android, 30 Day Approval, New Apple Customers)

Highest Apple Music cashback yet, and quite literally $14 free for simply signing up and trialling Apple Music for at least 30 days. Promo is now also available on all Android devices. Cashback will move from pending to approved at 30 days from signup. If your Apple Music subscription is cancelled prior to 30 days, Cashback will be declined.

Your Apple ID must be a new Apple Music customer that has not taken up a trial previously. If you don't have one, create a new Apple ID and add a payment method (PayPal etc) prior to commencing. The only ways to acquire this cashback is via the methods below.


From an Android device:

  • Visit the Google Play Store and download & install the Apple Music App.
  • Open your mobile browser, navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to this page.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Individual, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

From an iPhone/iPad/iPod:

  • Open Settings/Safari and turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
  • Open Safari, navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to 'open this page in Music' then this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Individual, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

From a desktop browser (requires iTunes install prior to clicking Cashrewards links):

  • If you haven't done so already, install and open iTunes.
  • Open your favourite browser and ensure all AdBlock is off (including Safari Cross-Site Tracking).
  • Navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to open iTunes.
  • Select Try it now… and you will get this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Individual, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

Promo is not available via the Cashrewards Mobile App until further notice. Fraudulent behaviour will result in rewards forfeiture and account closure.

      I like Spotify better, it works with google home. The automatic playlist is more accurate. I don't even get recommended daily mix playlist with Apple Music. But apple music has better audio quality. grrrrrr…

    I have no interest in this service, but $14 is $14 :-)

    • Just confirming how I understand this - this is a 3-month free trial of Apple Music, with a $14 cashback being paid after 30 days of that free trial.

      You can essentially sign up for free, wait 31 days, and cancel the trial. Cashrewards will pay you $14 after 30 days, and you still have 59 days of a free service before you're required to pay Apple.

      The only downside is that you will need to give credit card details to Apple.

      • From my understanding once you cancel the free trial your subscription stops, you don't get to keep using it

    When I asked cashrewards I was told "our team needs to wait until the store has marked your transaction as eligible for cashback before we can update the status of your rewards on our end."

      That's correct. Provided you've followed the terms and signed up as a first time Apple Music customer and didn't avail of a free trial previously with them, you have nothing to be concerned about. It will be approved. Any issues, ping me :)

    Cashback has never missed tracking a Cashback. Shopback is really hit and miss

      I'm waiting for one transaction to clear, cash out and then not use Shopback again.

      You can count me as another who has seen issues with Shopback.
      Recently, as my approved cashback amounts were approaching the $10 threshold (meaning I could withdraw) my pending transactions from Amazon went overdue for confirmation, one-by-one. Then one of them was simply REJECTED. I've never experienced delays or false rejections with Amazon transactions using CashRewards.
      Fortunately I'm good with my paperwork and lodged further enquiry. Within several hours the rejected transaction was reversed and all the overdue transactions were immediately approved.
      Now I'm waiting on several bonus/referral payments to be approved which they state will be approved "shortly" after reaching the $10 approved threshold.
      My experience with Shopback has left me wary of using them. I'd rather get a few % less and have no headaches, so I'll be finishing up Shopback and sticking with CashRewards from herein.

      You will get an email and it will appear on your dashboard

  • Strange, when I go to review my details in the Android app, it just says "For assistance, contact iTunes support".

    Already added my payment method and billing address when I made an account on the website.

    Guess I'll just wait until I get home and try it again on my PC.

    • same here.. Click history shows I clicked through to Apple music, my apple ID has never been used for apple music.
      But CR status not updated yet. Hopefully it comes through. CR has always been helpful in the rare event that something has gone wrong with the cashback though so not really worried at this stage.

  • Click showed in the history but no reward was given, have submitted a claim for this and for another transaction. This is why I've switched to cashrewards.

      That can only be the case if you lodged a claim, and we've not heard back from Apple. All tracked transactions are auto-approved. Please advise if that's the case, and if so, PM me your CR email address and ticket number. Thanks.
