Surprised they didn't force us to accept free tickets…

Like the farce that was the NRL GF?

    • At least now they can say they have "worldwide recognition"

  • We are a secondary resale site

    So….. you're scalpers?

    • We are a ticket resale site - yes. We are offering an item below original cost as our sellers have bought tickets and now want to move their tickets cheap. Call that scalping if you like, but i think our sellers are the one getting scalped in this instance!

Are you willing to share with us the ways in which Ticketmaster helps you scalp tickets?

  • +1

    This smells like a scam…

    • Certainly not a scam! All our tickets are genuine and we have customer service available for any concerns.

      • +1

"We are not affiliated with U2, Live Nation, Ticketmaster or Ticketek." …. so who are you affiliated with? Tickets have to come from somewhere/someone.

      • Hey where did you go? Do you have a comment for The Real Cher below?

      • Your tickets may well be - as "tickets". It appears neither the artists nor the venue have given you any right to sell them.

          • @TicketBlaster: In violation of the conditions under which the tickets were bought, and in full knowledge that venues claim and have exercised the right to refuse such tickets in the past.

Yeah cool, another ticket onseller/“legal” scalper in the Australian market..

I used these guys for AFL tickets.
They were great and I saved some coin.

    From livenation site:

    IMPORTANT

*Only tickets purchased via the respective approved ticketing agent (Ticketek or Ticketmaster) are valid for entry to the show.

*Tickets purchased via on seller sites such as Viagogo, The Ticket Merchant, Ticketblaster, Queen of Tickets, E-Bay or Gumtree will not gain entry into the event and we do not encourage anyone to purchase via these 3rd party agencies.

@TicketBlaster: Ticketek and Ticketmaster have their own resale programs now.

            • +1

@Joyoz: Yes they do! At the end of the day we are offering a deal significantly cheaper than cost price on these tickets. If you want a great deal then go ahead. If not, that is also fine with us.

      Thanks for the heads up.

Searched online and these guys usually come up in warnings about scalping and reselling: Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Tickets, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Ticket Merchant, Ticket Blaster, Ticket Bis and Queenoftickets.

If so…wow, way to forewarn your potential customers!

We guarantee entry to every ticket we sell, and are available via customer service at the time of the event if you have any issues/ concerns. The line that our tickets will not gain entry is completely false.

      • So how do you respond to Live Nation, a massive global company, advising not to buy from you? They're a massive, global company. You're not, nor will you disclose where you get these tickets from. You basically have a massive transparency/reputation issue, and whilst I've yet to see issues with people who have bought tickets from you, you can't deny everything is stacked against you.

EDIT: Not affiliated, just had an insatiable urge to copypasta, for some reason

  • +2

Be warned ticket resale sites do not control how many tickets a seller sells. It has been known in the past for sellers to sell the same ticket multiple times. So whoever scans the ticket first on concert day gets in where as the 10+ others that bought the same ticket will be left at the gates with an already scanned ticket. If you run into a problem at the gates you will not be let in and the ticket office won't be able to help you as they can only speak with the original buyer of the ticket.

    • +1

We are not in the business of selling the same ticket twice. Your ticket will scan in, guaranteed

  • +1

You can have your opinion about Ticket Resale, but at the end of the day we are offering a deal significantly cheaper than cost price to this amazing event. All the comments about not getting in on our tickets are completely inaccurate. We guarantee entry to every ticket we sell, and are available via customer service at the time of the event if you have any issues/ concerns. We have served thousands of happy customers since 2004, and certainly would not still be in business if we were scamming people.
