  • Any deal on the standard eneloops?

    • +1

I've been waiting on that also, altho, some people just say to get the Coles ones instead.

      • Aren't IKEA ones the best value?

        • They just jacked up prices to $14, but with newsletter discount of $10 we can get it for $4. That's it. I believe this is a good deal given its the branded thing.

      • -1

Coles $7 for 4 AA or AAA and rate better than Eneloop.

        • Did these ratings mention rate of self discharge?

  • +1

d'oh that shipping! Otherwise I'd jump on the Lii-402. Got a Nitecore D4 and Lii-500 already but having one that can charge via USB would be handy.

    • Is it that good a charger?

      • It's a solid brand especially for the price. I've got the Lii 500 and it's great. Can charge my AA and AAA eneloops and also 18650 batteries.

  • +1

    Thanks got the charger!

  • +3

Really good deal on the charger, thanks!

  • +8

If you want 8 x aa, this is a better deal if you have ebay plus
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Panasonic-Eneloop-Pro-AA-NiMH-Re…

    • Nice work - Thank you.

    • +1

      Darn, goneskies :(

This item is out of stock.

      • 1 left as of 8:36 sydney time

  • +4

Is this a smart charger? I’ve got zero idea. Sorry

  • +1

Thanks OP, Just bought the charger to replace my La Crosse BC-700 charger that has a faulty slot.

  • +2

Bought the charger, now looking forward to see the discussions, to make me feel good

  • +1

not a deal unless you have ebay plus. $14.95 to deliver an $11 item >.>

    • I think there a lot of members who got ebay plus for $1..

      • +8

        And a lot who didn't

        • Agree, it's not for everyone.. but for other's it is and as @avex87 mentioned, the title reflects it.. Its annoying not being targeted (including myself).

      • -1

that's targeted and so is this deal. Title should properly reflect this.

  • IKEA LADDA batteries are rebranded Eneloop Pro's and cheaper. $14.99 for AA's and $12.99 for AAA's. Make sure to get the white ones, not brown

    • Geez. From when did the price increased to $14.99? I got some for $8.99, but that must be a while ago

      • I had some from 5 yrs ago too, I think this is new (diiferent/better?) stock

      • The $7.99 Brown ones are Made in China 1000mAh, White is made in Panasonic Japan factory 2450mAh, same as Eneloop Pro with a different label

        • I got the white AA 2450mAh quite a while ago. Don't understand the price hike.

          • @[Deactivated]: $14.99 is the regular price, $7.99 is a sale price

            • @antik: I remember when I got it the full price was $8.99. $14.99 is nearly a 70% hike in price, which is ridiculous.

  • Can I use a 45w USB power adaptor from Huawei Mate 20 pro for the charger ? Will it charge faster?

    • -1

      Yes, no.

  • -2

    Any Cashback?

  • +1

Thx OP been waiting on a deal for the charger for a while

  • -1

    please comment on the charger…

    • +11

      on the charger

    • Charger draws power from a micro usb cable.

The charge rate is quite low for most chargers people have at home.

I have a 2Ah charger that only lets me charge 4 batteries at a max rate of 0.5Ah

      • Should have been usb-c input

      • You can charge a single battery (last slot) using full 2A!

  • +1

    Thanks I purchased a charger

  • Are there eneloops in D sizes?

    • Nope. However, you can get 'shell adaptors' in which you stick a standard AA eneloop and then stick it in the device. However, eneloops don't seem to like delivery huge amounts of current, so it depends on the device a bit. If the device has D cells for longevity, then should work. If it's because it needs heaps of current, no dice.

I bought a few years ago. I assume they still exist.

  • +1

Thanks! this is my first set of loops and charger!

  • Is that the same charger here for $13.53 plus free shipping on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com.au/Starabu-LII-PD4-LII-PL4-Battery-Ch…

    • That's a strange listing, it implies that there are a few of the Li models (including the 402) to choose from but no obvious way to select the one you want.

      • You can click on the thumbnail to choose

        • I did see that but wasn't convinced it would do anything except change the listing image.

      • The "Starabu" thing is a little weird too.
There are fake Nitecores around so I wonder if there are fake Liitokala's too.

  • a little off topic, how does this charger compare to the ikea one?
    https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/20303647/

i have an old La Crosse but the screen is almost blank! since it served me for about 10years+ :)
so looking for one that can charge 8-12 batteries at a time.

  • xtar vc4 is a good charger if anyone is looking for alternatives.

  • I swore when I saw this, cause I recently bought a Lii402.

Then I checked my order and I got it at $11.25.

Feel much better now. Am I petty to rejoice over saving $0.71 ?
