  • $26 at IT Estate

    Nothing to see here.

    • the $26 stick there is an inferior speed, 1333MHz. Not a correct comparison I think you'll agree :)

      • My apologies, fair enough.

        Neg removed.

    $2 discount lmao

    • -1

Hi, I don't follow what you mean by "$2 discount" … can you point it out.

      • -1

        $7 shipping +$30 = $37
        so actually $1 discount

not naming the brand for IT products where brands really matter…great marketing

        • +4

The $38 isn't inclusive of shipping, and also $38 for a 1600MHz 4GB stick is already quite a good price. So not sure your maths is correct give $38 is ex freight? Did you neg on what you perceived as a $2 discount incorrectly or did you actually check the market pricing for 1600MHz 4GB RAM? Just asking…

  • Is Elixir a "well known" brand?

    • Its not Elixir, are you adding a negative for price? <shrug>

      • what brand is it?

  • Bargain isnt up yet so why post it!

  • wow, ram is so cheap now :O
where should I buy laptop ram? $45 from mwave?

    • +1

      4 GB DDR3 SODIMM only $33 @ MSY

      • Good price for the notebook type :)

        • -2

          ohh and it's G.Skill RAM

        • +2

why the downvotes about G.skill ram?

      • +1

        Thanks a lot :)

since I'm lazy, are there any places that do delivery as well?

No brand and not exactly crash hot specs…

CL11 timings are slow, Corsair 4GB CL9 sticks are only around $35 and you know thats what you will be getting when you buy them. Also unless people are overclocking then 1333MHz vs 1600MHz makes absolutely no difference and if they are overclocking they won't be using cheap crap RAM like these sticks.

  • Whats up with the timings! Even $40 for corsiar CL9's are a better deal.
You never cheap out on RAM, unless you like BSODs xD

  • Hmmm… I need more RAM.

    Umm, I'm currently running 2 sticks of 1gb DDR2 800MHz.
Is it possible for me to add another DDR3 1600MHz to my supported motherboard and make it work?
In other words, can DDR2 and DDR3 RAMs work together?

    • I don't so. I think the only way that you can use DDR3 RAM is to get new mobo.

    • no, don't think can slot in even?

    • No, the pinouts are incompatible. You won't be able to physically fit them in.

    • Thanks. Firefox 5 use alot of memory for some reason. Needa buy some more RAM. Hopefully it helps.

      • Use Google Chrome? It's a lot faster =D

      • get a new computer, your going to fork out more in thr furture if your keep trying to upgrade it. Since computers are advacing, programs are going to get fancier interms of interface, this is just going to eat more and more ram.

  • Will this work with Mac Book Pro (MBP)?

    • i dont think these are laptop rams

      • For Laptop RAM, it has to be SODIMM

        • exactly. i didnt see it mention but then again i thought op might have left it out

  • Timings: 11-11-11-28 for DDR3?

    Thats shocking, no bargain here.
