    Noob Question - Would this work in a generic Chinese tablet? (B28 is only Telstra so shouldnt be an issue as this is optus). Just want the best data plan avail to surf the net on way to work with a screen bigger than my phone (10" El Cheapo Tablet will do the trick)

      Not sure why people don't know that Optus and Telstra both use B28/700mHz band, but at this price who cares as long as you get reasonable Optus reception.

      The UNLIMITED 1GB and UNLIMITED 5GB plans will not be switched to the casual data rate if you run out of data. In these instances you'll need to wait until your plan has renewed, or add a data top-up in order to continue using data.

    used to be 6 renewals, then 5 renewals and now 4 renewals. If you dont get this now, next time round will be 3 renewals.

    I bought 3 of these last time and the expiry is early Dec 2019; so I have to renew soon. For those in the same position as me, you will need to (generally):

    1. Buy this deal.
    2. Buy an Aldi $5 sim and port out on 1/11/19. This may take up to 2 days, but in my past experience, it’s same day.
    3. Redeem the deal before 7/11/19 (To get the Amaysim SIM card and making sure you select that you are bringing over your own number). Allow 3 business days for it to arrive.
    4. Activate/Transfer before 14/11/19. I suggest giving yourself a 3 day buffer before the deadline.

    Hope that is useful for some of u.

      Is there a cool-down period for the number with Amaysim? I remember kogan does. Also why buy an aldi sim when you can use the free telstra sim to do the same thing.
