    Wow, big download… 442 megabytes.

This program looks and feels ancient… go to Help -> About — Copyright Arcsoft 2003!?

Being free is good, but it's one of those programs that should never sell at full price.

      Being free is good

it's only good if it's actually useful… if there are other 'free' options that are better, then what's the point of bothering with this?

        Please point out some :)

  • Got a link to the actual product and Features? (as can not find it on their website)

    • It's in the link description ;)

  • that link…. is same link… as the trial o0
anyone downloaded and installed it to confirm?

the link "tbyb"<—try before you buy?

    • Wow your right! I remember a few months ago the trial version was about ~140MB.

Note: 10 minutes left to go(for my download to complete).

      • works perfectly. fast and stable under W7 Pro 64bit.

        • and it is definately the full version? (and not trial?)
details usually in the 'about' menu or similar..

        • no it's not a trial

This is a very old version 2003.
I wasted a lot of time creating a video.
When I went to the burn menu, it said that it had to burn it to the hard drive.
When it came time to write the file to the hard drive I received the message "Failure Writing to Disc"
A Google search found that this was a common problem with this version and that there were multiple possible causes and would be hard to troubleshoot. I applied an update to this this version but the error persists.
Don't spend a lot of time on this program until you verify that the above error does not occur.
