I always grab a jar of these plus a Sixer of Bud when holidaying in the USA. I don't believe Dry Roasted peanuts are readily available here. So this is a pretty good deal, as they are US$4+ a jar back in the USA. The title says "Honey" but the pic suggests they are regular dry roasted.

you lost me at sixer of Bud…

  • Always get some dry roast when I visit the uk.. the best! These don’t look quite the same though.

  • +1

Thanks, bit of a crapshoot whether they'll be honey roaster or regular. But worth it at this price, plus how bad can the honey be…

  • +1

Ordering three (6 jars) brings the price down to an equivalent price of just under $10.

    • +1

True, you only see the promotion at the end of the order process. It came to $29.17 delivered with prime.

  • where are the peanuts grown?

    • -6

Most likely China or India. They would clearly advertise it if it were from the US.

      • +5

if you have zero knowledge, you dont have to comment.

    • +7

Peanuts come from Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, Oklahoma

      Source

    • USA is huge peanut producer all of these are grown in USA there is no need to import from India or China

    • +3

They're roasted with a bit of oil. These are roasted dry with nothing but the nut.

      • +5

        nothing but the nut

        ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    • Those at Woolworths are roasted with canola oil.

    • The Woolies ones are greasy and oil , dry roasted is so much healthier and tastier as no oil involved

      • +1

        Oil isn't unhealthy.

    • +1

WW $9.33/kg vs $26.05/kg + delivery + effort of conversion from archaic 'oz' (AU use grams since 1966 - 53 years)
Placebo effect/Ozbargain satisfaction of big savings is better than minor health disadvantage of fried with oil.
The secret is to eat & spend in moderation.

      • and carbon footprint for these nuts is just nuts

      • Update: didn't notice 2*, so WW $9.33 vs $13

  • On the amazon page the title says "Planters Dry Honey Roasted Peanuts (16 oz Canister, Pack of 2)" but the photos don't mention honey at all?

    • The variety on sale is regular salted. There's a choice box on the page.

  • Are they any good?

  • +1

Agree with the UK comment (Being a Pom it's one of the things you miss) Tescos Dry Roasted peanuts were insanely good!!! so much tastier and better than your salted/unsalted or whichever other wild flavour they try! (Although I do like the red rock deli honey peanuts but they cost waaaaay too much)

  • +1

    Just placed my order. Cheers.

  • Why don't you just try these:

Or if you like peanuts only with a beer then try these:
    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTer…

Lately the Nobby's dropped the ball and the Woolworths picked it up with their "Beer Nuts".

I was so surprised to discover these two at Woolworths…

    • +1

Those are not “dry roasted” big difference

  • Can’t say no to some nuts. Cheers OP

  • Love them nuts.

  • Thanks, ordered some. Only the lightly salted dry roasted ones are in stock btw.

  • an assassin's weapon of choice if the target has a peanut allergy

  • -1

Better eat these fast before No Nut November

  • Great deal. You'd be nuts not to order some

  • +2

The title says "Honey" but the pic suggests they are regular dry roasted.

You select which flavour you want under "flavour". Link has lightly salted dry roasted selected. Title is simply the first flavour, though it's not selected when visiting provided link.

  • When’s the expiry ? Been burnt too many times with stale chips and food expiring within a month when ordering amazon pantry items

  • -3

The dry roasted lightly salted peanuts deliver 170 calories and 75 mg. of sodium per 1 oz. serving for a craveable heart-healthy treat that's perfect for eating while on-the-go.

Since when is 75mg of sodium good for the heart????

    • +1

Since they figured out that salt isn't unhealthy.

  • Must be expired.

  • If you like shelling the peanuts yourself, or just happen to eat peanut shells, Coles sells roasted Australian grown ones at $6/500g

  • I was told by amazon don’t always believe the picture, the description is what you get except in the case of quantity
So who knows what we will get . Ordered these with the $2 deal with Cashrewards

  • I buy these https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/767394/woo…

Much cheaper than this deal at $10/kg. They're Australian peanuts, roasted in Australia. They taste fairly dry to me.

    • Tried these, they are not dry toasted. Canola oil is used, however since its “premium” it’s not as greasy as the cheap Woolies beer nuts

      • How do you know they use oil? Wouldn't Woolworths be required to specify all ingredients (as they do for their packaged versions, where they list canola oil).

      • The ingredients list is: peanuts 99% and peanut oil. No canola oil.

  • Some of those reviews say that the ones they received were rancid…

    • Yeah reviews seem bad for this, oh well can always claim refund via amazon
