    You can only use one gift card online with Virgin; if you want to use more, you have to call up which I think attracts a fee on top?

        should be. this is what i've been told through numerous sources, but sometimes the person at the call centre isn't aware so you have to ask/push back if they ask for a fee. can call to check

        I just used 20 of them over the phone for a trip to Fiji and they didn't charge a fee, even though it's in their T's and C's :)

    Don't mean to assume intentions etc….but wouldn't a plan to use a Coles e-gift card to purchase one of these other giftcards be thwarted at checkout?

      It has been mentioned here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/489502

      that the gift card must cover the total cost if using the self checkout but if using manual you can do split payments. I have found that sometimes the operator tells you it will not work but if you can persuade them to try it will work. Inexperienced kids are best because they just assume it will work as it would on anything else. Some stores seem to have a policy of not allowing it.
