The $39.50 Vodafone pocket wifi is back. This time at Big W in store. Big W website shows "Out of Stock". The starter pack includes the modem and SIM card. Included 3G data expires after 30 days when activated and is for use in Australia only on Vodafone GPRS and 3G networks.

Please note that this is most likely to be the old version pocket wifi as Vodafone is rolling out their new version pocket wifi 2 http://shop.vodafone.com.au/broadband-details/Pocket-WiFi. The new version includes a new 3G band 850Mhz as well as the 900/2100Mhz bands. The old one only has 900/2100Mhz.

Still a bargain if you are looking for a cheap hotspot with free data. When unlocked, you can use it in most countries in Asia and Europe which mainly use the 900/2100Mhz bands.

    3GB data included however expires 30 days.i got it from ow months ago at the same price.you can grab one from post office for the same price.

  Also available at Australia Post stores. Just saw it this morning but didn't get it, don't like VF.
